We’re actually not in beta yet, however what was taking up all the time has now been finished. Jason was developing the WebSharks Core before working on s2Member. Since that is now finished s2Member’s code follows. :) Regarding giving beta to users. I believe it will only be given to certain select users like David Welch for example. There was another user that was experienced enough to guess which plugin was causing the conflict, so him as well I have confirmed. :) – Eduan |

For this kind of case using URI restrictions is the best, also URI restrictions aren’t only for when you use BuddyPress. – Eduan |

In the drop-down choose the file that you want to see and then click the button to the right that says “View”, then s2Member will open the log file for you and so you can grab the log entries from it. :) – Eduan |

Hi Paddy, That is correct pretty much. s2Member does not modify WordPress in this in any way. – Eduan |

Hello Maxim, So instead of the “or higher” effect you want each level to only have access to it’s own level? – Eduan |

Hello Marco, I see your point, however I don’t think PayPal stores this (besides the card info etc.). I’ll ask Jason anyway, see if he knows of a way to access it. :) – Eduan |

What do you mean with “UPLOAD IT IS NOT UPLOADING”? It sounds as if for some reason you’re not able to start the upload? – Eduan |

Hello Myrna, I can’t really provide much help, however if it only happens with Chrome it’s most probably Chrome the one causing the issue, although I haven’t had this issue myself. Could you try these common troubleshooting tips, perhaps one of them fix the problem for the user: – Eduan |

Hello John, The reason s2Member doesn’t allow you to set the login welcome page as the homepage is because s2Member will automatically protect whichever page you setup in that setting. If you want your homepage as the login welcome page, then instead of using the dropdown, use the text field below that, which allows you to input any URL as the login welcome page, and it won’t protect that URL. – Eduan |

Hello Lloyd, This isn’t impossible. You can go under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Registration/Profile Fields in order to add all the fields you need to gather data about during registration. Make sure open registration is open so that users can register for free Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Open Registration. And for the download restrictions in order to restrict these downloads to registered users only you can check under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Download Options, check this video for more info: Video » s2Member® File Downloads (Complete Series) – Eduan |

Hello Juan, I’m afraid this is not in the plans for the current generation of s2Member. I don’t know about future plans, but the next generation of s2Member will have a much simpler API to add new payment gateways. The best solution right now is to not use 2Checkout, or to pay a freelancer to integrate it for you. Or you can wait this year, in which the next generation of s2Member is going to be released. – Eduan |

That’s strange… What method are you using to block these pages? I imagine URI restrictions? – Eduan |

I see… Well I’m not sure what could be causing the problem… Do you have the logs for these transactions? Could you please share the log entries for these transactions? Check under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Log Files (Debug) -› s2Member® Log Viewer to check the logs. And before posting them here, make sure to XXX out anything that might be private or the user wouldn’t want revealed (or you). – Eduan |

Hello Prasenjit, You can accomplish that using the conditionals you are using, along with some JavaScript to cause the redirection. However, since you don’t want each level to see what other levels have, I suggest you start using custom capabilities instead: Video » s2Member (Custom Capabilities) – Eduan |

I see. Could you please take a sceenshot of the settings for your login welcome page and membership options page? If possible, a video showing the process of logging in would be very useful (make sure to capture the URL address bar). It would help me understand the process better. However if a video is not possible, just a detailed explanation of the process that you can observe so that I can draw a possible conclusion from that. – Eduan |

Hello Simon,
Well, there isn’t actually that, you could probably pull it off with some JavaScript that only appears when the user doesn’t have access to it (so it doesn’t check if the user has access, it already knows and acts accordingly). However the membership options page could also provide this I feel, however not as a popup, but as a redirect.
Yes you can have conditionals based on custom capabilities:
Or in PHP instead of shortcodes:

Hello Brett, Pretty sure these aren’t added by s2Member. All these are social/chat services, all of which s2Member doesn’t have anything to do AFAIK. Perhaps another plugin you have installed is doing this? – Eduan |

Hello Tim, Thanks for reporting this and providing a solution. He says that you can get rid of this error by simply disabling WP debug mode. This is not going to be fixed in the maintenance versions, however the next major version of s2Member will fix all of these errors. – Eduan |
