He said that he doesn’t plan to add this to the current release. But if he’s in the code again he’ll probably do it. :) |

I see… It might be possible to attain it, but you would have to use a little bit of PHP magic to make a dynamic URL that does just that… You would need to install ezPHP (Knowledge Base » ezPHP Plugin for WordPress®) and do something with PHP in that field. Perhaps just grabbing the URL of the current page is enough though. :) – Eduan |

I’m afraid I can’t provide any help with code like this, not because of policy, but because I can’t myself. Have you tried using a normal shortcode? Or is there some reason that you need to use this custom code? – Eduan |

Hello Tun, Yes to both of your questions. You can add custom fields to the registration form under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Registration/Profile Fields. And yes you can extend the user’s EOT (End Of Time) when you receive a check. You would simply go to edit that user’s info in the WP dashboard and you would change s2Member’s EOT field. However to implement the users sending you checks, they would have to do it manually, you can’t have s2Member do anything about it automatically. – Eduan |

Hello Olaf, I’m afraid this is not currently possible with s2Member. You would have to code this into s2Member yourself. However I don’t see the point of the user paying after 3 months. That’s plenty of time for the user to read everything and just not pay when the three months come up. Unless you offer new content all the time of course… – Eduan |

Hello Jose, I’m afraid s2Member is not fit for this kind of plan. s2Member doesn’t allow users to be able to sell their own content, only you can sell content, and it has to be digital content, for physical objects it’s not possible with s2Member (by default). – Eduan |

I see, yes a badly moved website can cause various errors. To move s2Member correctly along with WordPress you just need to have deactivation safeguards enabled (Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Deactivation Safeguards) and move WordPress correctly, that moves everything including s2Member’s info. – Eduan |

Hello Rachelle, I certainly see your point. Well, would using a one-time payment work? Instead of using recurring payments? They can’t cancel those, and they can last an entire year… – Eduan |

Hello Robert, I believe currently this hack only works if the user has paid for access, otherwise he wouldn’t have an EOT, which is when the hack sends an email. :) Also, this feature is in the plans for the next generation of s2Member, which should come out in the later part of the year. :) – Eduan |

Hello Sandor, What do you mean with disappears? What error do you get? Also if you want to use Instabuilder along with s2Member you will need to contact their developer so that he may look into the problem. – Eduan |

Hello Matt, I can see your point, but you can restrict the posts/pages to level 1 and it would work as Jason intended it. The idea is that you can offer a trial of your product, the different levels are just for the different stages of the trial or membership. Basically this is meant for when you protect your content to level 1. – Eduan |

Hello Minna, I’m pretty sure their content is preserved. Testing would be the best answer though. :) However, if the user is deleted, so is their content, and probably (maybe) the same if they downgrade to a level that doesn’t have the role of editor… – Eduan |

Hello Karl, This is not possible with s2Member, and probably not with BuddyPress. You need to configure your mail servers for that. With Google it should be pretty easy to add everyone to a mailing list and everytime everybody sends something there everybody else will get it. But to integrate that with s2Member is another thing. – Eduan |

That is somewhat correct. Check this article: As it says, if you have a PayPal standard account plus ERP (Enhanced Recurring Payments) you can have recurring payments without the user needing to have a credit card, or without needing to have the pro version. With PayPal standard without ERP the user can buy memberships without having PayPal, as long as they’re not recurring payments. Is that clear? |

Hello there, In all WordPress websites your users login through the page you can find at http://www.yourdomain.com/wp-login.php. So you just need to put a link to that page and your users can login with no problems. :) – Eduan |

Hello Matthew, I believe in order to achieve this you would need to modify BuddyPress in order to display these specially, make it recognize them by field ID and display them differently or something. Poirot, you can subscribe to it without making a post. You can click the “Subscribe” link to the top-right of the first post. :) – Eduan |
