Hello Andy, If you don’t have the pro version of s2Member then you can’t have a free registration form outside of that URL you pointed to. When you do have the pro version of s2Member, you can find the free registration pro-form under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Pro Forms -› Free Registration Forms. Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Andy, Since you have the free version of s2Member you don’t have access to a free registration pro-form shortcode. Or do you somehow have the pro version of s2Member installed? Anyway, if you have the pro version of s2Member you can find the free registration pro-form under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Pro Forms -› Free Registration Forms. Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Erin, Does the problem happen right away? In other words, do they get a “link expired” message as soon as they check their email? Or does it work as expected and only works a certain amount of time (of which I’m not sure how much it is)? – Eduan |

Hello Marc, What are the log files called? I believe some backup services make copies of your files, and I have seen log folders overflowing with files because of that. – Eduan |

Hello Halle, Yes they should be able to see all the content in all the pages, no matter what they’re restricted to/for. Although, I’m not sure, but I think that if you restrict a content specifically for a certain level () it will not show up for the admin user. Does removing that shortcode from that page solve the problem? – Eduan |

Ah I see. I think the problem is that s2member is not integrated with PayPal eChecks. s2Member does not mention eChecks any where in it’s documentation and code I think. – Eduan |

That’s strange. Does this happen on a fresh install of s2Member and WordPress? Just installed WordPress and s2Member and nothing else? It might be worth trying to reproduce the issue in another hosting provider, or in localhost. – Eduan |

Hello Michael,
I believe you can’t limit the downloads per file, but rather depending on the user’s level. You can do that under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Download Options -› Basic Download Restrictions. And it’s a total of downloads.
I’m afraid this is not possible with s2Member. :/
This is possible in a couple of ways. You can do it either with s2Member conditionals, which you can read about here: Knowledge Base » s2Member® Conditionals Or you can do it so that the link is clickable, but the user won’t have access to it so he’ll get redirected to the membership options page. You can read how to achieve that under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Scripting -› Custom Capability and Member Level Files. – Eduan |

Hello Devra, I’m not sure to what fields you’re referring to, could you please show us a screenshot? I’m pretty sure only admin users can see payment info and other from the user’s, but I might be wrong. So I need an image in order to be sure of what fields you’re referring to. ;) – Eduan |

Hello Chris, So you want your users to continue paying but go down to level 0? Did I understand correctly? If so, then this is not possible with s2Member, the level 0 is supposed to be 100% free, you can’t associate any kind of payments with that level, since it is the WordPress subscriber role to begin with. :) – Eduan P.S.: Please don’t use the title of “S2Member Pro Beta Tester” unless you have been given that title by Jason or a support rep, in which case they would give you a badge I would think. :) |

Hello Siyan, No, s2Member does not provide this functionality. s2Member is for selling digital content from you to your users, there are a couple of other things you can do with workaronds but s2Member is only meant for the first. – Eduan |

Hello Jon, Actually, if you do not see those then it means that either you disabled PayPal pro under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Other Gateways or that you still haven’t installed the pro version of s2Member. For instructions on installing the pro version of s2Member check here: s2Member® » Pro » Install/Upgrade Instructions If you can’t find the settings under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Other Gateways then it simply means you haven’t installed s2Member pro. :) – Eduan |

Hello Dai, I’m afraid this is currently not possible with s2Member. s2Member currently does not implement this functionality. However, it is possible to implement this with some custom code so that it counts how many times a file has been downloaded. – Eduan |

Hello Ben, I’m afraid this is outside of what s2Member can handle. You can tell what users can read posts/pages and forum software (like bbPress, BuddyPress). If you want to protect forum software inside of your WordPress website then you can use uri restrictions to block the read access, which you can find under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Restriction Options -› URI Access Restrictions. However to control the write access you’re gonna need to modify s2Member to allow certain roles to do that. – Eduan |
