That certainly is very strange. Because this is not an error caused by s2Member. Could you do me a favor and test the common trouble shooting tips shown here: Knowledge Base » Common Troubleshooting Tips Do them all but specifically the one regarding the server check. :) – Eduan |

Hello Oriol, In order to have more than 4 levels you can do what’s specified here: Pre Sale FAQs » How can I extend s2Member® beyond four Levels? And to rename them and such, I’m not sure if it would break s2Member to rename them, or if it would give you the expected result, but you can try using the user role editor plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/user-role-editor/ – Eduan |

Hello Jon, Yes if you do some changes to that plugin it should be easy to enable/disable for certain levels, although I wouldn’t know how. :/ – Eduan |

Hello Lee, The fact that you’re using HotMail may have something to do with it. Have you tried with other email adresses? I would also suggest you check your spam folder, it might be sent there and later to your inbox. – Eduan |

Glad you found that Richard. :) I suspect however this is a WordPress error, for some reason your database was not configured correctly for WordPress and that’s why it’s giving you that error. – Eduan |

Hello Andrew, While I’m not sure of how you could achieve this with a WordPress plugin in conjunction with s2Member. Or in other words I’m not aware of any plugin that does this. However I’m pretty sure that you can use Google Analytics in your website and they would work pretty well. – Eduan |

Hello John, Currently I don’t think you could add this with s2member, atleast not without modifying the source code. However a support rep can correct me if I’m wrong. However when I read that text it does make sense, sorta, by clicking that button I’m confirming this action, that’s what I understand. If you want you can look into this from PayPal’s side, ask them how ou could change that from PayPal’s side, although don’t expect much from them. – Eduan |

Hello Justin, That is strange behavior, installing s2Member should not break registration. Could you please try these common troubleshooting tips: Knowledge Base » Common Troubleshooting Tips You can skip the step regarding the server check file, because you already did that. :) Please tell me how it goes, |

Hello Tim, You can do that if you create your own image for the button, and use it as I show here: http://eduantech.com/2012/12/using-a-custom-image-for-your-button/ – Eduan |

I’m afraid I’m not familiar with Thesis, and/or various themes. The best way to find out is to find a theme that you like and try it with s2Member, if it doesn’t work the contact the theme developer to see what he can do about it. If it works great! Basically what I suggest you do is that you contact the developer of the Thesis theme and see what he can do about the error, if he can’t do anything about it then find another theme. – Eduan |

That’s very strange! In a completely default installation it shouldn’t have this problem. Are you also using WordPress’ default theme? That would be Twenty Eleven, with which were sure it doesn’t cause any problems. – Eduan |

In order to put a pro-form in your MOP (membership options page) you need to have the pro version of s2Member. So the best you can do there is offer a PayPal button or a link to the free registration page (http://www.yourwebsite.com/wp-login.php?action=register). You can find some PayPal button generators under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Buttons -› Membership Level # Buttons. Although yu need to setup your PayPal info first Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Options -› Account Details. – Eduan |

I see. Well there might be a plugin that does this, however I’m only aware of how to detect the current browser in the HTML header, to load different styles and JavaScript, other than that I don’t know how to detect it. It might be worth checking Google to see if it has anything to say about “wordpress detect browser plugin” or something like that. – Eduan |

I’m afraid I’m not aware of a script that does this. But I can provide the basic idea of it so that you can implement it. I’m gonna do it with PHP syntax, although it doesn’t mean you can’t do it with Python or whatever you prefer.
That’s just sort of a crude idea of it, I have no idea how you would accomplish this, but it gives you a general idea of what to do. :) – Eduan |
