Thanks for your inquiry.Does removing the widget have an impact on performance? If it does, we’ll be happy to assist you in resolving this matter. Please post a link to the exact page of your site that contains this widget so I can review that page. If removing the widget (or deactivating s2Member completely) does NOT resolve the slow-load issue, this question is not really about s2Member, but about WordPress in general, which we cannot offer support for. Thanks for your inquiry.
You said “email notifications”. Have you actually logged into your payment gateway to confirm how many sales you did for the day? It’s possible that some of the email notifications are being flagged as spam and are not reaching your inbox, or they’re going into your spam folder? This happens quite often with PayPal, because the email notifications sent by PayPal, actually come from each customer, and not FROM PayPal as a company, in terms of the From: address in email messages. Please let us know if problems persist :-) |

Thanks for your inquiry.~ We appreciate your patience :-) I’m sorry but there is no shortode that displays individual Profile Fields for editing purposes. Not individually. You can use the See: Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Member Profile Modifications |

Thanks for reporting this important issue.I’m VERY sorry. Those notes in the documentation no longer apply. s2Member’s integration with ccBill DOES support both Recurring Billing and it also supports Initial/Trial Periods in the latest releases of s2Member Pro. I’m going to have these notes removed in the next maintenance release. Thank you for reporting this! Please check the ccBill Buttons section of your Dashboard to see how ccBill payment buttons can be generated. There you will see that s2Member does support both Recurring Billing and Initial/Trial Periods with ccBill. Dashboard -› s2Member® -› ccBill® Buttons -› Membership Level # Buttons |

That’s great! Yes, we did switch to a new, more reliable SMTP server for outgoing messages from our forum. I’m thrilled to hear that. Thanks for the feedback :-) |

Thanks for your inquiry.~ We appreciate your patience :-) I’m sorry but there is no s2Member hook/filter for this yet. You are correct about having found the right file to modify however. Modifying the code in that file would achieve that for you. Unfortunately, those changes would be wiped out during a future upgrade of the software. Related to this, is a feature that can help you in other areas of the Dashboard. This will not change those labels in the drop-down menu, but it is related, so I’ll post it here anyway, just in case it helps someone. Thanks for your inquiry.~ We appreciate your patience :-) s2Member does not come with an approval system. That being said, what many site owners do, is they allow Free Registration (i.e. Open Registration: on). This allows visitors to register for free at Level #0, which just gives them an account. After a manual review of Level #0 accounts, an Administrator can upgrade them to Level #1 or higher; granting them access to content you’ve protected at those higher Levels. So the trick is to protect your content at Level #1 or higher, then allow Open Registration at Level #0. In other words, Level #0 Members will just have an account, but not actually have access to anything until you increase their Membership Level from the default Level #0. If you would like to display a custom message ( i.e. “Your account is pending review.” ), you can use s2Member’s Simple Conditionals to detect a Customer’s Membership Level, and to display an appropriate message on your Login Welcome Page. Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Scripting -› Simple/Shortcode Conditionals
When you mentioned about having a paid customer register at Level #1 and then upgrade to Level #2 would also be a creative solution that would work very much the same way. I don’t see any issue with that, no.

Thanks for your inquiry.~ We appreciate your patience :-) s2Member is currently NOT integrated with this aspect of ccBill. We suggest that you cancel any existing subscription, and ask the customer to signup for a new one instead. As you mentioned, this functionality is not on by default with a ccBill account, and we’ve had several issues when trying to integrate s2Member successfully with ccBill upgrade forms. This might be possible in a future release, but I don’t see that happening anytime real soon unfortunately. It’s certainly possible with: |

Thanks for reporting this important issue.Let’s begin diagnosing this issue by taking a look at your s2Member log files related to ccBill. We need to make sure that your ccBill installation has been properly configured throughout, both on the s2Member side, and on the ccBill side of things. For starters, please review all of the integration instructions on this page of your Dashboard. Next, please enable logging routines here: Run another test transaction. If it fails, please submit your log files privately for review. Please use: s2Member® » Private Contact Form |

Thanks for your inquiry.~ We appreciate your patience :-) Yes, s2Member Pro’s import features would certainly make this possible. 1. Configure your Registration/Profile Fields with s2Member, assigning each of them a unique ID in s2Member. With s2Member Pro installed, please navigate to these sections of your Dashboard for more information. Please let me know if you have any other questions/concerns. If you have any trouble with importation, please use our paid Customer Support Forums to seek assistance. Thanks! |

Thanks for your inquiry.~ We appreciate your patience :-) This limit of 250 users per export file is designed to reduce the chance of s2Member exceeding memory and/or script timeout limits on shared hosting platforms. If your server is more powerful, you can certainly export several thousand users at a time. I’ll see what we can do to make this easier in the future, but for now, here is how you can circumvent this limitation. Please open this installation file: Change Please let us know if problems persist :-) |

Thanks for your inquiry. To properly answer this question, I will need one more piece of information please. Do you want to collect payment information when they register for the free trial? Or are you trying to give them a TRUE free trial, where you simply allow them to register free, and submit payment information only IF they decide to hang around? In other words, is this a 1 week free trial, where the customer submits payment information and billing begins automatically if they don’t cancel within the first week? |

Thanks for reporting this important issue.Great feedback and suggestion. I’ll see what we can do accommodate that type of translation solution in the future. In the mean time, here is an example of how you might translate custom field labels established from the Dashboard, by translating them at runtme using an s2Member action hook in WordPress.
NOTE: This is normally NOT necessary, because site owners operating in a different language, can simply enter the Field Labels in the Dashboard, in the language they prefer to use. However, in cases where you’re attempting to support multiple languages with a single instance of s2Member, this may assist you.
Please create this directory and file:

Thanks for reporting this important issue. When I access that page and inspect it with FireBug, I see you have a JavaScript error which reads:
This error is not related to s2Member, since s2Member does NOT use the Cufon library. This error would indicate to me, that there is a possible configuration issue with your inFocus theme on this site. Or, perhaps it’s just a bug that should be addressed with the theme developer. In either case, this JavaScript error will prevent other aspects of your site from functioning properly. Once all JavaScript errors are resolved, the password strength meter, and other components of an s2Member Pro Form will begin to function properly for you :-)
This is possible with s2Member Pro Forms. Please check this section of your Dashboard for instructions. Please let us know if problems persist :-) |

Thanks for the heads up on this thread :-)Yes, that is correct. It’s simply an additional line of defense. A registration link contains a Paid Subscr. ID (encrypted in the link itself), which s2Member will ONLY allow ONE paid registration with. If the link is used by a customer, it cannot be used again to perform another paid registration where someone obtains paid access. |

Thanks for your inquiry. No, I’m sorry but we really do not know for sure. These IDs are constructed by PayPal, and s2Member simply records what is provided by PayPal. You can try posting this question in the PayPal Developer Forums if you like. Please see: https://www.x.com/developers/paypal/forums |

Thanks for reporting this important issue.
Can you please elaborate just a bit further for me? What type of field is it exactly, and have you checked the configuration of these Registration/Profile Fields in s2Member yet? Registration/Profile fields configured with s2Member can be set to purposely NOT allow future edits, so that’s a setting that I would have a look at please, for each Registration/Profile Field that you’ve setup.
