I’m sorry the client decided to use another gateway… :/

There isn’t a tutorial to integrate with new gateways, but here’s a thread that gives a tip: http://www.primothemes.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=3154

I hope it helps.

Hi Jason.

You can edit your menus from here: [hilite path]WP Admin -> Appearance -> Menus[/hilite].

I hope that helps. :)

Hi April.

Thanks for explaining and the screenshot.

You’ll need to edit this file s2member-pro\includes\classes\upgrader.inc.php and add a check to make user it’s shown only to the admin. Some thing like [hilite code]current_user_can('manage_options')[/hilite] or [hilite code]current_user_is('administrator')[/hilite].

I hope that helps. :)

3)

You could try deactivating that plugin in just the page where the pro-form is. http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/plugin-organizer/

6)

When the user registers, he gets the New User email. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Email Configuration -> New User[/hilite]

When the user pays to register, he gests a Signup Confirmation email. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Options -› Signup Confirmation email[/hilite]

When the user is already registered and pays to upgrade, the email sent is another one and there isn’t an interface to edit it yet, but you can use a hack. http://www.primothemes.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=10368&p=33365#p33365

I hope that helps!

Hi Tony.

This feature is not available yet. I guess you, or someone you hire, could create a script that exports the users and emails the file to you, and then create a cron-job that runs it as often as you need.

Laurie, this may help with the custom field search: http://www.primothemes.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=15658&p=48878#p48878

Good. :)

It’s there to give the user a choice to be added or not to the email list.

You can control that checkbox from [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / List Servers -› Registration Double Opt-In Box[/hilite]

Hi John.

It was good that you moved it here, I wouldn’t have seen it in the Community Forum.

Yes, you can have users register free with ccaps using the free registration pro-form: [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Pro Forms -› Free Registration Forms[/hilite]

I hope that helps! :)

What do you mean by “link string”? The registration URL?

And what variable are you referring to?

Posted: Thursday Aug 9th, 2012 at 4:44 am #21605

Yeah, really weird…

Do you get that message from the URL shortening service or from s2Member? Do you have a screenshot?

Could you send me your login info so I take a look at your settings and test purchasing an account to see what happens with the registration link? Could you create a page for me, with your order button at 1 cent so I test this? s2Member® » Private Contact Form

Thanks!

I’m glad it solved your problem! Thanks for the update. :)

The $ccap_date var was just an example name, it’s not one that exists, you’d create it with the same format to which you’re comparing it to, i.e. YYYYMM, e.g. 201201.

I’m sorry, I don’t know JavaScript, other than that it’s client side… Sorry I can’t help you with that one.

Looking forward to your solution! I hope it isn’t too much trouble to get it working the way you want. :)

I don’t know… You could try entering your own reCAPTCHA keys here: [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› CAPTCHA Anti-Spam Security[/hilite]

Let me know if that helps, please.

I emailed Jason and will let you know when I hear back from him.

By the way, Laurie’s problem seems to have been related to insufficient RAM and it seems to be have been sorted out. I don’t know if other problems have come up. Laurie?

I’ve never used Excel, only OpenOffice, and always assumed that Excel could do this without trouble. But you seem to be right, after searching a bit, I can only find macros to double quote the values.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/291296/en-us
http://www.markinns.com/articles/full/export_excel_csvs_with_double_quotes/

In OpenOffice, you Save As, select CSV as the format and check the “Edit Filter Settings” box to make sure you have double quotes around the values.

I hope that helps. :)

I copied that and pasted it with the ‘Fake: header’ and spaces in the parser test, I then get the following error:

No rulesets were matched.

It seems to be missing some lines at the end:

Role: subscriber
Level: 0
CCaps:
- end.

http://www.s2member.com/kb/aweber-email-parser-for-s2member/

AWeber provides a box where you can paste this in, to test your Email Parser.

Fake: header

Hi Jorden.

1) Can my custom non-WP app integrate from a sub-domain to this plugin on a WP install in the root domain? I would just need to know if the user is logged in and what level their membership is.

You could try something like this: Knowledge Base » Protecting Non-WordPress Content with s2Member

2) If someone cancels the rebilling, or doesn’t pay/payment doesn’t go through, does only the payment gateway know this or does S2Pro catch and manage this?

If you integrated s2Member with the gateway, the gateway will notify s2Member when the user cancels, and s2Member will deal with it based on its EOT behavior setting. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Options -› Automatic EOT Behavior[/hilite]

3) If my needs are this fundamental and I’m also needing an e-commerce solution for selling tangible products as well, why would I go with your solution vs. Cart66 or similar?

I don’t know. s2Member manages access to content, it’s not a shopping cart.

Let me know if you have other questions, I’ll be glad to help. :)

Hi Peter.

For large files, it’s best to use the Amazon Web Services integration. Video » s2Member® File Downloads (Amazon S3/CloudFront/JW Player)

I hope that helps. :)

Hi Eric.

I’m notifying Elizabeth in Accounts to look into your case. Thanks for your patience.

Do you have another account that you paid the upgrade for? What is its username?

Thanks!
