Great! Glad you found that. I had forgetting about that post and didn’t find it when I did a quick search. Thanks for mentioning it here, it’ll help others as well. :)

No, s2Member doesn’t require the permalinks to have the post ID.

You can try Quick Cache, developed by Jason as well, Lead Dev of s2Member. http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/quick-cache/

No, no effect. The Open Registration setting applies only to free registrations with the regular WP registration form. Pro-forms bypass it, even the free registration pro-form. The setting doesn’t apply to paid registrations, because upon return from payment, s2Member sets a cookie that’ll identify him as a paying customer and let him register, or the user will use the special link s2Member sends in the confirmation email, which also lets the person register, regardless of the Open Registration setting, cause he’s a user that paid.

I hope that helps. :)

Peter, I just noticed something wrong in your launcheffectapp.com site. There are some links that have www and some that don’t. Please read this: Knowledge Base » Don't mix www and without

Thanks, Raam. Goes to show how much I know about cron jobs. :P

Yeah, it appears often here. I did a quick Google search and found their support site, you should be able to get an answer from them on what API URL you should use for what you want. http://www.idevsupport.com/

I hope that helps. :)

That being said, once the customer completes checkout and is upgraded to the new Level, their Profile will include any Customer Registration/Profile Fields that you configured for Level #1 Members. So once checkout is completed, you can suggest that your customer update his Profile.

Or you can take them to the profile page directly using the success attribute. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Pro Forms -› Custom Return URLs Upon Success[/hilite]

I see both entries are of different subscriptions for Specific Page access. I know that s2Member doesn’t handle more than one subscription at a time, so the problem is probably there, as the reason for decline says. I understand you’re using the subscription instead of the buy-now because of the trial/initial period.

I’ll ask Jason for more informatino on how subscriptions behave with Specific Page restrictions.

Hi Chris.

The import tool doesn’t email users on import to avoid problems, since it handles so many names at once, a single mistake could cause lots of trouble.

You could probably look for a WP plugin that lets you email your users.

I hope that helps. :)

Thanks Tony.

It’s not ideal, but it isn’t a bug either, that’s the way Jason coded it for custom fields with multiple values possible. We’re working on improving it.

Thanks for reporting it. :)

Sure, the Open Registration setting only prevents/allows free registrations, it doesn’t touch the roles (Subscriber, s2member Level 0).

So those at that level already, or demoted to it, won’t be affected, it’ll only prevent new free registrations if you change the setting to No.

Right, it’d be best to ask the BuddyPress guys, since you’re trying to filter the users list by role. That’s not something s2Member includes in its integration.

I hopet that helps. :)

Hi Todd.

Could you post the code you’re using? Thanks. :)

What happens when you load that URL in the browser directly? Do you get a 404 or something else?

Did you check your .htaccess? Maybe there’s a rule there that’s making it fail?

2. I’m an intermediate PHP developer, would I be able to move the s2member-files folder to something like this (www.mydomain.com/restricted-files)?

This should help with that: http://www.primothemes.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=2719#p8017

Hi Jesmon.

I’m pretty sure that the pro-form will only show those fields on registration, and after that only in the profile page. I’ll ask Jason how they can be shown in the pro-forms for a logged in user.

I don’t know. I think you should ask the SI Captcha developer if you’re editing that correctly.

Posted: Tuesday Apr 3rd, 2012 at 2:06 am #9849

It still says tabindex 30. Verify that you saved your changes, or refresh your cache.

Posted: Monday Apr 2nd, 2012 at 11:06 pm #9842

Thanks Victor. :)

His previous field has tabindex 58, so I’d give the SI Captcha a 70 to be on the safe side, in case he feels like adding more custom fields later.

I’ll ask Jason if there is anything else we should know about the tracking codes with pro-forms.

The docs say

3. Otherwise, if possible, on the Login Form after Registration is completed.
4. Otherwise, in the footer of your WordPress® theme, as soon as possible ( immediately with s2Member Pro Form integration ); or after the Customer’s very first login.

so even if you didn’t see the tracking code in the page with the pro-form, did you look for it in those?

Also, could you post the log entry related to the transaction with the problem? Not sure if it’ll show anything about the tracking, but would like to see if it has any errors. Please, x’ing out any private info (e.g. email, last names).

Cool. :)

No, no update on that, other than heavy development and good progress. :)

Posted: Monday Apr 2nd, 2012 at 8:17 pm #9822

I see. That captcha is being added by another plugin, SI Captcha, and the input field has the same tabindex as the First Name, that’s why it goes there after it. You’ll need to fix the tabindex for the captcha field so it reflects the order of the fields in the form.

I hope that helps. :)

John Brittain, I emailed Elizabeth to help you with the account access, and cc’ed you. Please continue by email with her, she’ll help you sort it out. :)

John Williams, yeah, approvinng the accounts manually is certainly a way to catch cheaters. To do that, you can protect the content at level higher than the one they get on registration, then you review the account and “approve” it upgrading it manually from the profile.

I hope that helps!

Yes, almost certain, or that’s what we’re shooting for, but it’s not a promise (just in case). :)
