Sure.

You should contact the iiDev people and ask them how you can update an affiliate’s commission when someone cancels, and how the API URL for that would be, then you can fill in the values with the replacement codes in the s2Member notification.

What question? This?

But I would like to know if S2Member does anything with the default password hashing in WordPress?

No, s2Member doesn’t touch that.

Tracking loads your code in the page that corresponds to the kind of tracking, so you can use JavaScript or an image there, for example.

Notification will load a URL you enter, so you can use it to run other scripts you create, or connect to a service’s API, for example.

For refunds, you may want to look at the Cancellation Notifications. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Notifications -› Cancellation Notifications[/hilite]

I hope that helps. :)

Holger, that really seems a problem with PayPal, their link in that page should take the customer to the URL that it’d redirect him to automatically (the one that works).

Mark, that’s a good idea to try.

Susan, thanks for the update! I look forward to future ones.

Hi Lee.

When you say post, do you mean a Specific Post restriction or a post you protected with a Custom Capability?

Could you please post the log entries related to the transactions with that problem, please? x’ing out any private info (e.g. email address, last names. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› ccBill® Options -› Account Details -› Logging[/hilite]

Thanks!

Hi Patrick.

I’m glad you’re liking s2Member so much. :)

You can update the domain for the license from your Account page. http://www.s2member.com/account/

I hope that helps!

Hi Andrew.

Yes, we’re working on that. :)

Hi John.

I see. Could you post a link to the registration page?

Thanks!

Hi James.

No, no plans, but I’ll mention to Jason your interest for this gateway.

We are working on an improved gateway integration that will make it easier to add new ones in the future.

I hope that helps. :)

Hi John.

No, the SSL cert is only required of you will be receiving payments on your site. Since the payments will be done on PayPal’s site, you don’t need the secure connection in yours.

I hope that helps. :)

Hi John.

I understand. Could you please tell us what your username for the first account was, or the email address, please? Do you still have access to that email account?

I think I’m getting confused with the coupons… Do you mean discount coupons to purchase access?

s2Member doesn’t let you specify the Author role on purchase, but you can use a role editor to customize the s2Member role the user gets, so it has all the capabilities that the Author one does.

Jason, I’m assuming she’ll have to re-apply that customization to the template after each s2Member update, right?

Excellent, Holger! That’s exactly what I was going to suggest. Glad you solved it. :)

Eduán, he’s now using PHP in the template only but, yeah, he’ll need the plugin if he later wants PHP in the post’s body.

I see. I left you a reply there.

Awesome, Mark! I’m very glad you got it working the way you wanted, and that plugin you found is great, many have asked me for a user uploads plugin and now I can show them that one.

Thanks for your support! Sure, post in the Customer Support forum when you need help with s2Member. :)

I don’t know if your rewrite is affecting this. You can try in a new WordPress installation to test it and once you make it work there, try copying it in the existing one.

The shortcode is [hilite code][[s2File download="example-file.zip" remote="yes" /]][/hilite].
[hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Download Options -› Remote Auth/Podcasting[/hilite]

I hope it helps.

Thanks for the update. Glad you found the problem. :)

No, s2Member doesn’t touch that.

Hi Craig.

I wonder if there’s a PHP error or a plugin conflict.

Could you try, as a test, deactivating other plugins but s2Member, and see if the cancellation pro-form works then? To deactivate them in that page only, you can try this plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/plugin-organizer/

Do you have a PHP errors log in your server? Maybe you’ll get an idea of what the problem is from it. This may also be useful: http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Debug

I hope that helps. :)

Hi Mercilee.

Only with s2Member Pro but not the s2Member Framework? Odd.

Could you post the content of your .htaccess file in the root directory, please?

Also, did you test deactivating the other plugins and then activating s2Member Pro?

All of them would be good, Michael.

Also, it’d be good if you could tell us from the logs the IDs of the transactions that had the problem, so we know what log entries to look at. Thanks!

Oh cool! Thanks for the tip, Nigel. :)

Could you show us how you set up the authentication in Kindle? Thanks!
