Maybe. I’d really try the tips in the troubleshooting tips article first. Then, if those don’t help, I’d try the email delivery troubleshooting suggestions. |

I’m afraid not. The pro-forms behave as a registration form too when the user is not logged in, but when he is, the pro-form doesn’t behave as a profile editing form, just as a payment form. |

This reply Jason gave to another user may explain what you’re asking: http://www.s2member.com/forums/topic/authorize-net-recurring-yearly-payments/#post-51067
I don’t know if it explains this question too, though, but it looks like the initial term was skipped and only the first regular term was charged. I’ll have to wait for Jason to look at this, Bruce already forwarded it to him. |

Those are emails sent by WordPress, not s2Member. Maybe something you added/changed/updated recently has caused the WordPress emails to fail. These may help: |

This is what we have on those: [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Pro Forms -› Free Registration Forms[/hilite] These are the relevant videos, in case you find the time to watch them after reading the above: Video » s2Member (Free Registration On Multiple Levels?) |

I don’t know if it can be disabled, but maybe there’s a plugin that lets you do it. s2Member adds a way to edit the New User email to customize it, but doesn’t include an option to remove it. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Email Configuration -> New User[/hilite] |

s2Member’s custom profile fields don’t have this functionality. You would need to write your own customization to change the behavior to what you need. Maybe the second field would need to have all the jails, but using some JavaScript have it show only the options related to the previous field’s value. If you’re not familiar with how to do this, I suggest that you get a developer to help you from a freelancers site like jobs.wordpress.net, odesk.com or elance.com. |

I’m glad that helped. :) Sure, I’ll pass it on to Jason, but could you please provide a link to download your translation file? I’d like to review and try it to see if I can find what the problem is. Thanks! |

Thanks, got the email. I reviewed your logs and found the entry for her purchase. I see she got Level 1 and the ccap “instructor” for 1 month. I went to her profile and see that she has the “instructor” ccap there, her role is s2Member Level 1 and her EOT is set for July 13, 2013. I don’t see the access missing in her profile. Was this the customer who had trouble? Is she not being able to access the content paid for or what is the problem? |

Something in their latest release seems to have introduced a conflict with s2Member. It’d be good that you let them know, so they are aware of it and probably solve it. It must be possible for it to work without a conflict if that’s how it’s been until now. |

Thanks for running that test. I looked at the logs and saw no errors in the API or RTN logs. I noticed you had no IPN log, though, until I loaded the IPN URL for your installation and created an entry for it. There may be a problem with PayPal communicating with s2Member, I’d investigate that. I’d first try Jason’s server scanner to see that you have no errors reported there, and if fix any problems that come up there. Knowledge Base » s2Member® Server Scanner Also please do these: Knowledge Base » Common Troubleshooting Tips And I noticed you have Object and Database caching enabled, which are known to cause problems. I’m not sure if the problem you’re having here is related to that, but you should disable those to prevent any issues in the future. |

The Categories restriction works with Levels only, and the ccaps can be used on pages/posts only. With custom code you can combine them, and I knew the ccaps video had an example, that’s why I linked to it for you. But it’s not a default feature, you have to create the customization. With your conditionals in the customization you’ll have a lot more power to control access using these.
Well, the video has a sample code that should help, but if it’s too advanced for you, it will be best to get help from a freelancer from a site like jobs.wordpress.net, odesk.com or elance.com. |

Thanks, got the email. Please try all these: Knowledge Base » Common Troubleshooting Tips I see you have at least a couple of customizations (mu-plugins, functions.php), please don’t forget to remove them when testing to find conflicts.
I see you have the shortcode [hilite mono]rr[/hilite] attribute set to [hilite mono]0[/hilite] in all your forms, but you aren’t giving a trial, it’d be best to change them to [hilite mono]BN[/hilite]. See: [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Authorize.Net® Pro Forms -› Shortcode Attributes -> rr[/hilite] |

If I’m not mistaken, that hook is fired when using the s2Member shortcode for profiles. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Scripting -› Member Profile Modifications[/hilite] For modifications from the dashboard, I’ve found something like this seems to work (change the email address to yours): [hilite pre_code]add_action ('show_user_profile', 'email_profile_changes'); add_action ('edit_user_profile', 'email_profile_changes'); function email_profile_changes($user_id) { if (isset($_GET['updated'])) { $user = new WP_User($user_id); wp_mail ('name@domain.com', 'Profile update - ' . $user->user_login, 'testing1'); } } [/hilite] |

What I’d do is deactivate all the plugins and go to the default theme and see if I still the problem with the users search. If you do, it’s something with WordPress itself, but it you don’t, then it’s one of the things you removed, then you can bring them back one by one testing after each. |

Great.
No, the bucket you integrate with s2Member will be like the s2member-files directory: it’s all protected, including subdirectories. Try the HTML file, do the embedded files load fine or is the protection interfering? If it is, you will need to either give them a download key or move them out of the s2Member protection… |

Thanks, got the email. I reviewed the user and confirmed he had been demoted according to the admin notes, and now has Level 2 and no EOT time. I’d need to see more info on his transaction, but logging is currently disabled and no entry for it in the logs you have from previous dates. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Log Files (Debug) -› Logging Configuration[/hilite] Could you please try reproducing this problem with logging enabled? Create a user at level 0 and make a copy of your button shortcode changing the amount to 1 cent and the term to 1 day for the test, then log out of your admin account, login to the account you just created and upgrade with the new test button. Log back into your admin account and see if the user has an EOT time, and what the log entries say, please. Let me know how it went. If the EOT time was set, let it expire after a day when the EOT happens, and upgrade it again trying to reproduce the problem. |
