Hello Farhad, I’m afraid s2Member is not integrated with BuddyPress. All we can restrict about BuddyPress is what you can restrict using URI restrictions (Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Restriction Options -› URI Access Restrictions). However, if the users will be able to create groups, join them etc. it won’t work. If you can figure it out with URI restrictions great! Otherwise there’s not much you can do with s2Member besides hiring a developer to add all this functionality for you. :) – Eduan |

You can paste the button shortcodes anywhere you like. We recommend you do it in the membership options page because that’s where you rusers get redirected to when they try to do something they can’t. But if you want to put it somewhere else, it’s totally possible. :) – Eduan |

Hello Nicole, So if I understood correctly the only email you get is the one by AWeber to confirm the email subscription, correct? Did you check your spam folder(s)? – Eduan |

Thanks for the solution. :) With s2Member I’m pretty sure this flow is on purpose. But if it isn’t I’m glad you found the solution. :) – Eduan |

He hasn’t answered yet I’m afraid. And I’m not sure if that would cause any problems. You’ll have to try yourself. :) – Eduan |

Hello Jimmy, I’m afraid this is not something you can achieve with s2Member. WordPress itself is not suited for this purpose. I suggest you look into hiring a developer to develop something like this for you. – Eduan |

The problem here is very simple John. You’re logged in as admin. The admin has access to everything, s2Member will not make any attempt to block him out of the content. If you’re logged out it works correctly right? – Eduan |

Hello John, I can understand why you would want a refund, however our refund policy does not cover this kind of problem: First, let’s start with the Job Manager plugin. You should not be using this plugin, at all. Whether it works with s2Member or not is another problem. You should not be using this for 1 simple reason. It doesn’t work with WordPress itself. It has not been updated in over a year. WordPress has released several updates in that span of time, one of them a major update. WordPress has changed lots of things in it’s code, which makes this plugin incompatible with WordPress itself. If other plugins have problems with this plugin, it’s not their problem, it’s this plugin’s fault, because this plugin is outdated. Per our support policy, even if this plugin was updated, we can’t do anything to fix it. We will not look into integrating other software with s2Member or making s2Member work with it: http://www.s2member.com/support/#s2-support-scope-no
We will NOT provide support and/or troubleshooting assistance for any s2Member® Product which has been integrated with another 3rd party theme or plugin. If you discover a bug, or an inconsistent behavior with an s2Member® Product which is integrated into a mixture of other themes/plugins for WordPress®, we ask that you start by disabling all other plugins and revert to the default theme for your current version of WordPress®. If problems persist, even in the default theme for WordPress®, and no other plugins are active, we are happy to help. Otherwise, if you are integrating s2Member® Products into a larger set of themes/plugins, we ask that you seek assistance from an experienced WordPress® developer who can do a full review of your site and make the proper recommendations (e.g. helping you resolve conflicts between all plugins working together).
If you really wish to use this plugin even though you shouldn’t, then you can do a couple of things:
Those are your options. If you choose the last, even then, we can’t provide a refund for s2Member. The reasons are fully explained in our refund policy: s2Member® » Terms » Refund Policy To put it simply, you can only ask for a refund in the first 30 days, after that we will not provide a refund. If you do ask for a refund in those 30 days, you must first prove that s2Member didn’t work as we promoted it did, and that you received our utmost help from these forums in order to solve the problem. So as it stands, we cannot provide you a refund. No matter what. – Eduan |

Hello John, I’m afraid I’m confused on what the problem is. :S The problem is that the login welcome page is not protected? Or what seems to be the problem? What are you expecting to happen, and what’s happening. Thanks! – Eduan |

Hello Myrna, The user role editor shouldn’t cause this kind of problems. If the role s2member-level1 (or whatever it may be) still remains, and isn’t deleted, it shouldn’t cause any problems at all. You just need to give the users that role along with the s2Member role. – Eduan |

So basically you want to know how to not restrict your content to Google? If you restrict your content in your website, your content is also restricted to Google, and there’s currently no way to avoid that. On the other hand, if your content is not protected then Google can freely access it, again, there’s no way to avoid that currently. – Eduan |

Hello Graham, Could you please show us an image of your restrictions under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Restriction Options -› URI Access Restrictions? The only way the whole website can be protected is by using URI restrictions, by blocking a category most of your posts have, or by manually protecting all your content (which seems you haven’t done). So once again, could you show us an image of your URI restrictions’ settings? That or simply tell us what you configured there. :) – Eduan |
