Hello Conor, WordPress doesn’t have the wp-signup.php page for registration, it’s the wp-login.php?action=register the one that s2Member uses by default. Are you using BuddyPress or do you have a multisite configuration (can’t remember which of them added that page)? – Eduan |

Hello Michelle, First, could you please try reinstalling s2Member and s2Member pro? Uninstall them and install them again. Make sure to have deactivation safeguards on though, so that you don’t lose any settings: Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Deactivation Safeguards. If that doesn’t fix it, could you please try these common trouble shooting tips, all of them: Knowledge Base » Common Troubleshooting Tips – Eduan |

Hello Rubert, Because of some configuration issue s2Member is having trouble communicating with PayPal. So please try the following steps to fix it: First, make sure your server is fit to use s2Member. Upload the following file to your WordPress installation’s root folder, and open it in a browser. Fix anything that it tells you to fix. :) Second if fixing the problems it reports (if it reports any) then please try these common troubleshooting tips: Knowledge Base » Common Troubleshooting Tips If that doesn’t work either, then please try reconfiguring your PayPal settings as if you were installing s2Member from zero. You would do that under: – Eduan |

If what TJ doesn’t work, then I suggest you try these common troubleshooting tips: Thanks for the explanation TJ! Also, if it isn’t that, it’s also probable that your theme or another plugin is causing conflicts with s2Member’s JavaScript. – Eduan |

Hello Amanda, You mean SSL in order to be able to have https in your URL? If so, I’m not sure what kind of SSL you require, I didn’t know there were various types of it. in any case you only need SSL if you’re using s2Member pro-forms I believe, other than that I believe they’re not necessary. – Eduan |

Well, although I’m not experienced with MySQL. I’m thinking, maybe you could have an array or an associative array with all the levels? That’s my two cents, I’m afraid I can’t offer anything else. :) Also, I put the code in between code tags, otherwise WordPress will automagically transform the quotes into curly quotes and stuff. :) – Eduan |

Hello John, If you want to use s2Member along with Woo Commerce you will need to do your own customizations to s2Member for it to work correctly. Regarding the cart button, I guess you could use s2Member PHP conditionals to restrict it to a certain s2Member level/custom capability. Check Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Scripting -› Advanced PHP Conditionals for more info. – Eduan |

Hello Patrick, The recommended way to achieve this independence between each access is to use custom capabilities. Which are “passes” which allow you to have an unlimited amount of independent-from-each-other levels. Check these resources for more info: – Eduan |

Hello there, Well the support reps are providing the best help that they can. They tell you to try one thing, if that doesn’t work then they have another idea that might be it, if it gives you blah error with that then they tell you to try another thing which could be related, etc. The devs are on on certain times, in those times they answer everything that has been accumluated through the day, sometimes they’re randomly on, sometimes they’re alert all the time. But remember it’s only 2 support devs and anybody that chips in to help (like me). And to answer the videos thing. Yes, these videos are not new, however they’re holding off from making any more official videos until the new major version of s2Member comes out. Although I believe Cristian plans on making his own videos. – Eduan |

Hello Jim, This limit is setup for servers that do not have a lot of power or in case they have a low timeout amount of time. I’m not sure myself how you would change this limit, but one thing to do in order to make this size limitation bigger is to make sure that your server will be able to handle that bigger amount. So make sure that the amount of time a script has before timing out is pretty big, otherwise your server will cut the process before it can finish. And also make sure that your server will be able to handle that much activity from you. :) – Eduan |
