Hello Sofia, Yes that is correct, you would refund through PayPal and s2Member would be notified. Read the documentation under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Quick Start Guide -› Cancellations / Expirations / Terminations, I’m sure it will help. ;) Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Sofia, s2Member recommends (and uses) iDevAffiliate, you can find instructions on how to integrate it in this video: Video » s2Member (iDevAffiliate Integration) And you can integrate it under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Tracking -› Integrating iDevAffiliate®. Hope this helps. :) |

If you don’t have the required protections under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Restriction Options -› Alternative View Protection then users will be able to see the post, until they click on it and try to open it, then they won’t have access anymore and will be redirected to the membership options page.
If you made sure to have deactivation safeguards Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Deactivation Safeguards on, this shouldn’t happen. I don’t know if it would happen because you changed your security encryption key, that key is very important and says not to change it ever, haven’t changed it yet so don’t know what the side-effects could be. – Eduan |

Hello Brad, Currently s2Member does not integrate with Jetpack, so if you want to have Jetpack subscriptions you will need to integrate it yourself. :/ |

You mean like somebody to check that everything is correct before the release of your website? |

Actually there is private/personal info from the account that paid, so I suggest you simply X out any private info (email etc.). You can paste the logs inside the <code></code> tags, one for each log. – Eduan |

Hello Boyang, This is not a bug, this is meant to be like that for a simple reason, s2Member protects whatever page it is given as the login welcome page. If you want to have the login welcome page be something that you don’t want protected, then under the options for the login welcome page, simply leave the dropdown empty, and fill the field below it with the URL to your Mingle forums. Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Artur, So you want to know how to make a hack that will give WordPress all the necessary info in order to generate a new member, with the things that you give it? And of course make WordPress generate it? |

Hello Quoc, From what you describe, there really isn’t any way to fix this, this is very probably an error that can only be caused by IE, because of how it handles the data and stuff. :/ If you want to fix it, it really would involve a really lot of time of debugging, and just testing until IE likes the way it works. This can of course be a very big loss of time… – Eduan |

Hello Sarah, If you don’t plan to receive payments, then you can simply fill those fields with false info, that should fix it. Hope this helps. :) |

Oh no, I’m sorry, if you don’t want open registration then that option should be set to no. You would put a pro-form or PayPal button inside your membership options page, that would allow users to pay to see content. Hope this helps. :) |

This is controlled by the setting under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Open Registration. This option disables or enables free registration. Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Abner, Yes this is possible, you could do it with an adaptation of my donation button: http://eduantech.com/code-snippets/donation-button-that-gives-access You would have to modify it, but it’s a good template. Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Simeon,
Yes this is possible, you would simply edit the user’s role (or custom capabilities) under WP Dashboard -> Users -> All Users -> [Username]. Or, you could implement this hack I developed recently, I posted it at my website: http://eduantech.com/code-snippets/donation-button-that-gives-access Hope this helps. :) |
