Hello Paul, You can find it under Dashboard -> Appearance -> Widgets if I remember right. Hope this helps. :) |

He can’t post in the customer support forum if he isn’t a paid s2Member pro user… |

Yeah their support is really bad. :( So if I understood correctly, you are currently using PayPal Payflow as your gateway correct? |

Hello Dean, What payment gateway are you using? If you’re using then it is not possible to remove this (PayPal’s rules or something). – Eduan |

Hello Chris, Just checking your quote from your developer, and I noticed a couple of things:
I’m pretty sure this is not correct, if the file is not corrupted or encrypted manually, then pretty much nothing is encrypted, since you are supposed to be able to edit this plugin freely. Could you ask them to give you the file names and locations, so that I might also check it out myself. Thanks.
If I understand this correctly, it means the PayPal button can’t be used before the user is registered. Please confirm that this is true. If it is, then this is very wrong, you are supposed to be able to offer PayPal buttons before the user is registered, otherwise how would they pay? Could you please confirm with your developer this is what he means?
This is correct, but only with the pro-forms, and you can’t use more than one in one page, basically you’re limited to one pro-form per page, but this is easily handled by having a page which redirects to all the pages with the pro-forms. Again, please confirm with your developer what I asked you. :) |

No problem, just don’t wait too much, cause Jason checks his email once or twice a week only (usually less). ;) |

Not sure you can accomplish this with s2Member, atleast not without custom coding. What you could do is surround the widgets area with s2Member PHP conditionals, that way only logged in users can see it. You can find an article about conditionals here: Knowledge Base » s2Member® Conditionals Just remember the shortcode conditionals wouldn’t work. Hope this helps. :) |

I suggest you install the Raw HTML plugin and try to disable all the filters that you don’t need. I would try one-by-one until I find the one that causes it, and if you want, leave the rest on. :) Please notice that this will not allow you to use the visual editor anymore. Hope this helps. :) |

Glad you found the solution Shane!
Yes he is a very good coder, although he is better now, the current s2Member’s code is actually pretty dirty under some standards, especially high performance standards. But the newer version will be much better. ;) |

Hello Vishnu, The way to do this is to edit the user’s info under Dashboard -› Users -› All Users -› [Username], edit the user’s info under the s2Member section, and to modify their level just modify their WordPress role. Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Bruce, I’m not sure about this myself, I’ll ask Jason for his opinion. Don’t think he’ll post here, but I’ll tell you what he tells me. ;) |

Yes it does integrate with BuddyPress, but currently you can only protect BuddyPress using URI restrictions, which you can find under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Restriction Options -› URI Access Restrictions. Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Sarah,
This is some customized code, and we really can’t share the code, since it wouldn’t work unless you have the pro version of s2Member.
This isn’t quite possible, you would have to modify s2Member (specifically the widget) in order to completely replace the wp-login.php page, for this you would also need to modify the WordPress side of it if I’m not mistaken.
There are, check out this article: Knowledge Base » s2Member® Conditionals
This is possible, you would just edit the user’s role under Dashboard -› Users -› All Users -› [Username], just make sure to receive the payment first. ;) Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Maksym,
The user is not logged in automatically, so once the account is created you have to actually login as the user in question. Also, when creating the user, did you specify a role, if you did, did you specify it as “s2Member level 1” or higher?
That is already accomplished with the membership options page, as long as the page where the user is gonna pay is protected with a level of 0, so that the user has to register before paying, even if registering for free. Hope this helps. :) |

Hmm… Could you try making a compatibility test? Just change your theme back to the default theme (TwentyEleven) and deactivate all the plugins except s2Member, if the problem is no more, then the cause of the problem is either your theme or some plugin, to find out re-activate them one-by-one until it pops back again. If this is too much, then could you please do a clean installation of WordPress with s2Member and see if the problem remains, thanks. Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Manish, This currently isn’t possible with s2Member, it will be possible with the new version, but this version is currently not integrated in that way. One way you can achieve this is using a mail service like MailChimp or Aweber, and set them up so that they send an email when their subscription is about to end. Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Manish,
Yes this is possible, without s2Member even, check under Dashboard -› Users -› Add New, just make sure you choose the user role you want the user to have. And under the s2Member section of the new user page fill whatever you need to fill. Hope this helps. :) |
