Hello Yvette, Currently it isn’t completely possible to replace the wp-login.php page with something else. Although one thing you can do is use the login widget in your website through PHP. Check Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Scripting -› Pro Login Widget (via PHP), you could also use the login widget as a widget, you can find that under WordPress’ widgets section. Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Jack, Well it’s actually quite simple, you don’t have to modify anything in s2Meber (although I do recommend you turn deactivation safeguards on Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Deactivation Safeguards). Simply buy a new license, that’s at your name, and in the main website field simply enter your website (i.e. http://www.madhedgefundtrader.com/). It’s really that easy. When you want to upgrade s2Member pro, simply enter the username and password for that account, and then s2member will use that new account. Your members won’t notice a thing, but when upgrading s2Member, remember to always update the pro version also, otherwise your site will break, since it doesn’t have s2Member pro when it requires it. To update the pro version automatically, simply go to the general options page of s2Member, and at the top you’ll be asked for login info, make sure it’s the same info as the one for the new account you will buy. Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Jack, so if I understood correctly, you want to change the account that s2Member uses in other words? So that it stops using Rebecca’s and starts using yours. Is this correct? |

Hello Rebecca, I’m afraid not, this is currently not possible with s2Member. The only way you could do this is to add a hack that fires every time a user pays, and then the hack can check if it’s a user referred by an affiliate or all the checks you want. I’m not sure if this is possible, but I don’t see why not. You might be interested in checking the s2Member codex for finding the right hook: If you don’t feel comfortable with PHP, and don’t already have a developer, you can check over at jobs.wordpress.net and see if they can do it. Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Kim, Sorry for no answer, yes this does look like something for custom capabilities. Just know that this is also available in the free version, not necessarily in the pro version. ;) |

Hello Kevin, I have only seen this error a couple of times, and it results when under WP Dashboard -> Settings -> General -> WordPress Address (URL) the URL is not the same than what your website’s URL is. So for example, one of the times I saw it was when the website URL in that field was “www.ExampleWebsite.com” and the actual URL of the website was “www.examplewebsite.com”. So you might wanna check that out. Hope this helps. :) |

Hello John, In that case, you might be interested in changing the plugins CSS. Although that plugin is no longer supported by WebSharks Inc. So I recommend you don’t use it. Check this for more info: |

OK Don, I notified Jason soon after posting my previous post. Remember that Jason is only checking his email around once a week or less. |

Hello Michael, I’ll answer your questions to the best of my ability. ;)
This is correct, this does come with s2Member pro. Although just understand, this does not work if the user is not logged in first, if he isn’t logged in, it won’t be auto-populated. If you use PayPal as your payment gateway then you can accept payments through PayPal, not sure if it won’t work if PayPal is not your payment gateway. :/
This is possible if I understood correctly, you would simply have s2Member conditionals that would separate the content depending if the user is logged in or not, or if he has certain access or not. Just understand that you can’t have more than 1 pro-form in one page/post currently, so you would have a page that redirects the user to the page with the pro-form that applies to him, which would also be protected depending on what level/ccap you wan the user to have before being able to buy that. Hope this helps. :) P.S.:
Don’t you mean Mickey Mouse? |

Hello Don, Well, I can’t seem to find anything related to completely clearing the cache, I can only find things related to refreshing the cache in order to make sure the content is up-to-date. Just wondering, how many pages/posts or other types of content do you have in those websites? It might be that Quick Cache is trying to cache everything, and it needs tons of space for it. If you don’t have a lot of pages, then I don’t know what it could be, while Jason checks this (I’m sending him an email) you think you could manually clear the cache? – Eduan |

Hello Hamid, In that case what you would do is edit the user’s ccaps, not add them through a shortcode (since you can’t separate content by member). So you would go under WP Dashboard -> Users -> All Users -> [Username] and you would add that ccap to the user under the s2Member section of the user’s info. Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Wayne, So if I understood correctly, the test user was given access to your website, even though he didn’t have the necessary money in the account? Correct me if I’m wrong please. :) |

Hello Giancarlo, Yes it can be integrated with 2Checkout (if 2Checkout has an API), but it isn’t currently. So if you want to use it, you would have to integrate it yourself or pay a freelancer to do it for you. Does this answer your question? |

Hello Don, That’s very strange, Quick Cache doesn’t do that. I would check a couple of things: Second, do a compatibility test, change your theme back to the default theme (TwentyEleven), and also disable all your plugins except Quick Cache (and s2Member if you have it) to test if the problem goes away. If your website already has visitors, then I suggest you do this in a test environment, simply install WordPress and Quick Cache alone, if the problem doesn’t happen, then it means there is an issue with another plugin/theme you have installed. Hope this helps. :) |

Well apparently, the new version will be in beta sometime soon, but they haven’t given any specifics, I would calculate around 1 month or more. |

So you want to know the function that updates the user’s EOT? Or the hook for when that happens? In any case, you can search the codex for that: Hope this helps. :) |

Well, it can manage it, no problem, it depends on your server’s power. The problem is since it’s not designed for that, you would have to add and protect each video yourself (which will be a real hassle). Does this answer your question? |

I agree, although WordPress is not really the best of its kind, I mean it is for blogging, but any good coder with certain standards will see that the code is not what you would call “clean”, it can do a lot better in the coding department.
Yes, I actually did this, and it feels good to help other people. :) You will probably see more from me than other members, but not more than the support reps. :) Pleasure talking to you too. :) – Eduan |

Then have you made sure to configure it with the Payflow API? Check under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Options -› Payflow® Account Details, if you configured it under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Options -› Account Details then it won’t actually work. Just something to make sure of. Also, please make sure to activate logging under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Options -› Payflow® Account Details -› Logging, and then please post here the logs of those transactions, make sure to X out any private/personal info. – Eduan |
