Hello Kelli, So if I understood correctly, you want some menu items to only be visible to certain levels? If so, then you might be interested in checking the options under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Restriction Options -› Alternative View Protection. Hope this helps. :) |

Hello David, Please read the following: s2Member® » Terms » Refund Policy And then just state the reason why you wish a refund, in this post, if necessary, then the support reps will ask you to send a private contact form. Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Manish, Not sure about the PayPal side of it, but if you have the correct s2Member license (i.e. Unlimited site license) then you can install s2Member in different websites, as long as they belong to you. Hope this helps. :) |

Like Dem said, the WordPress directory is where all of your WordPress files are located, also, since we’re talking about s2Member protecting files, you might be interested in knowing, that s2Member only protects files that are under the following directory: wp-content/plugins/s2member-files You might be interested in this video for more info on file downloads: Video » s2Member® File Downloads (Complete Series) Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Shairyar, The open registration is only for level 0, a free level, users don’t need to pay for it. If you want users to be able to register at level 1 then you might be interested in checking this video: It will explain how to create buttons and configure PayPal in order for members to be able to pay for membership. Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Juergen, Currently s2Member doesn’t apply this kind of protection, if you want this behavior you would have to code it in yourself using jQuery or PHP, and the $_POST variable. Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Christine, I’m pretty sure s2Member does not add this email, also WordPress doesn’t have it by default. Do you have an emailing service like MailChimp or Aweber installed on your website? |

Hmm. That’s very strange, could you try doing a clean install of WordPress? Just re-install WordPress and only install s2Member, this is to make sure that any plugin or theme don’t interfere at all, and to make sure s2Member was installed correctly. It can of course be in a development environment sub-site or whatever, doesn’t have to be your website. Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Deyson, I haven’t used it, but I saw it right now, and it looks OK, it never hurts to test things. ;) |

Hello Kim, In order to block this kind of system is to use URI restrictions, which is currently the only way. You can find them under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Restriction Options -› URI Access Restrictions. Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Alex, No, the membership options page should not be protected, or s2Member will throw an error, or won’t work correctly. Besides, your non-member users won’t be able to get a “You need to pay” page. You can however use conditionals in order to show different content depending on the user level. You can find them under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Scripting -› Simple/Shortcode Conditionals. Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Charles, I don’t believe there is any video specific for this. You can check the following video, which I believe slightly goes through those options: Video » s2Member / General Options Overview Hope this helps. :) |

Although that’s for one-time payments, not sure if it’ll work the same with subscriptions. |

Hello Cassel,
I’m pretty sure they are added, unless you remove them first using ‘none’ instead of a ccap, if I’m not mistaken, although if you do use it, you would use it before the rest.
That is correct, I believe. One thing’s for sure, the user won’t continue to pay the old payment. ;) Hope this helps. :) |

That is very strange. Could you please try doing a compatibility test? Just change your theme to the default WordPress one (TwentyEleven). And if that doesn’t work, deactivate all your plugins (except s2Member) and if the problem disappears, then reactivate them one-by-one until the problem appears again, and there you have your culprit. Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Rogan, I have seen this problem in the past, caused by a plugin or theme conflict with s2Member. Could you please try changing your theme to the default WordPress theme (TwentyEleven). If that doesn’t work, could you please try deactivating all your plugins (except s2Member) and reactivating them one by one until the problem appears again? Thanks. Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Rick, Is your sandbox in a localhost? Or online? If it’s in localhost then you can’t expect it to work, localhost isn’t actually able to send emails. Hope this helps. :) |

Oops, yes as Bruce mentioned, you would use pro-forms in order to make a registration page go with your theme, I thought we were talking about the login page for some reason. – Eduan |

Hello Tony, Well one way you can achieve this is using the pro login widget through PHP, for which you can find instructions under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Scripting -› Pro Login Widget (via PHP), the widget would be put in a page of your own, allowing it to take the styles of your theme, this is a solution that some site owners have taken. Hope this helps. :) |

No problem Mark, glad I was able to help. :) I suggest you don’t use IE, it really doesn’t work with many web related things, sometimes even JavaScript or PHP (yes, PHP). |

Hello Mark, You mean to allow the user to specify his own password? If so, then you might wanna check under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Registration/Profile Fields & Options -› Allow Custom Passwords during Registration?. Hope this helps. :) |
