BTW, Rachel, how did you install s2Member? Your account reflects that you haven’t bought the pro version. |

Hello Cassel, Well they are made with JavaScript, PHP and most probably AJAX, but to put conditionals you would simply but them in the plugin’s code, not the theme’s, that of course has the downside you have to do it every time the plugin updates. Does this answer your question? |

You mean something along the lines of a JavaScript alert() popup message Cassel? Could you show me an image of what you mean? Just so that I’m clear on what you mean. Thanks. :) |

Hello Steve, This is possible with the free version using PHP conditionals, you can find an article about conditionals here: You can find PHP conditionals under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Scripting -› Advanced PHP Conditionals. Hope this helps. :) |

By comma: Although, remember that it will require all of them, it’s not one or the other, it’s all of them. Hope this helps. :) |

Could you try doing a plugin compatibility test? Simply disable all the plugins and if the problem disappears, then enable them one-by-one until it appears again. |

Hello Cassel, It works with all the levels if I’m not mistaken, as long as you offer something higher or extra than what they already have, otherwise s2Member won’t allow them to submit it. Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Gordon, That error you posted seems to point directly at your theme, could you please try changing your theme to WordPress’ default (TwentyEleven) and see if it works? |

Hello Synergy, I suggest you check advanced PHP conditionals, which you can find under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Scripting -› Advanced PHP Conditionals. Here’s an article about conditionals: At the bottom it mentioned PHP conditionals. Hope this helps. :) |

Well, you don’t necessarily need to put the ccaps in the functions.php file, check the photo in this article: Note in that box there is a custom capabilities text field, you can protect each page that way. Also, make sure your server is approved completely by the following script: Put that script in your WordPress main directory, and open it in a browser. Hope this helps. :) |

Thanks Kim, that does help. So I can see one way to do this in order to avoid the conflict. Make a duplicate of that page, one of the versions, sell specific post page access to it, and the other copy use it to offer it for free to the levels that you have. Would that work for you? |

Hello Ganaxi, I’m afraid to have like a centralized area with all the services they have access to would require a script that runs through the user’s info and displays the info. If I’m not mistaken, you are asking which is better for this purpose correct? If so, then ccaps are the only way to go, since specific post/page access restrictions are not tied to any specific user, so it’ll be almost impossible to retrieve all the services the user has paid for. Hope this helps. :) |

You might be able to achieve this, not sure though, just have to make a hack that allows this in a limited manner.
This isn’t possible I believe, because the whole idea of specific post/page access is that the user doesn’t need to register in order to get access to this page, besides the fact that you sell a specific page. Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Fred, See my answers below:
When editing/creating the user, if you have s2member enabled, you should be able to select the role the user has, choose s2Member level # for the level you want. ;)
Yes this is possible, check under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Restriction Options -› URI Access Restrictions. Hope this helps. :) |

The login welcome page is the page to which users go after they login, in order to welcome them or whatever you want. So if the user is not logged in, he will not have access to the login welcome page, however, if the user is atleast level 0, then he will have access to the login welcome page. |

Hello Giancarlo, If with “Browse members section” you mean the area under WP Admin -> Users -> All users -> <specific user>, then yes, you can simply delete the user there and he will no longer exist. Also check under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Options -› Automatic EOT Behavior to configure what happens when a user reaches his EOT. ;) Hope this helps. :) |

Hello Scott,
This isn’t necessary, simply don’t offer the paid levels. ;)
Please check out these videos (complete series): Video » s2Member® File Downloads (Complete Series)
I’m afraid this is not quite coded into s2Member yet, so you would have to code it all yourself or hire a freelancer/developer to do this for you. s2Member recommends sites like jobs.wordpress.net for this. Hope this helps. :) |
