Hello,

You would still need to write your own code to automate the dynamic insertion of the custom values.

If you want to dynamically create WordPress pages that come “pre-loaded” with some default info, you’d also need to write your own code to handle that part.

Hi Rodriguez,

Are you viewing the post with the Visual Editor at any point? That looks like something that would be caused by the Visual Editor.

If you’re definitely not loading the post with the visual editor at any time, could you please try disabling other plugins one-by-one and retesting? It sounds like there might be another plugin that is causing this conflict.

Hi Ron,

You would direct them to an upgrade page where you place a Billing Modification form (see Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Pro Forms -› Billing Modification Forms). The form will automatically be filled in with their details (assuming they are logged in) and once they checkout and pay, their account will be upgraded.

Hi Kim,

That is exactly what the Specific Posts/Pages feature is designed for.

Hi Amy,

s2Member has IP Access restrictions which can be configured at Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Restriction Options -› Brute Force IP/Login Restrictions. This feature is designed to help prevent password sharing.

Hi Charles,

I’m not familiar with that plugin but you may want to post this question in the Community Forum to see if any other s2Member users have used it.

Hi Stu,

Please see this paragraph at the bottom of the prices page:

If you operate a WordPress® Multisite Network, and your Network DOES make it possible for users/members to create child blogs or sub-sites (in any way), we consider your installation to be a Multisite Blog Farm. Please note, many site owners run a Multisite Network for the purpose of maintaining their OWN child blogs or sub-sites. The term Multisite Blog Farm does NOT apply to a Network that hosts multiple child blogs or sub-sites, all of which are operated by a single site owner. A Multisite Blog Farm (in the eyes of s2Member®), is a Network that makes it possible for its users/members to create child blogs or sub-sites; where one or more of these child blogs or sub-sites is administered by a user/member (e.g. if you offer blogs or sub-sites to your customers, for free or otherwise).

Hi John,

Please see this answer for information on creating accounts manually.

If you want to also create a recurring profile that charges the customer, you’ll need to set up the recurring profile on Authorize.net itself (assuming they allow you to set up such recurring profiles manually) and then add the subscription ID or transaction ID to the s2Member account that you create for them (make sure you select Authorize.net as the Payment Gateway).

Hi Damen,

The Affiliate Coupon codes works with iDevAffiliate and ShareASale (the two we recommend), however integrating them with other affiliate systems that can use s2Member’s Tracking System (Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Tracking -› Other Tracking Methods) is also possible.

Please see the screenshot below for more information about Affiliate Coupon Codes (click to enlarge):

Hi Benny,

You said,

I looked at the button code for the pages it is happening on and compared it to the pages that when the buttons were clicked I was successfully sent to paypal, and they are precisely the same, character for character.

I just looked at the code for the buttons on the two pages and they are not the same. Please copy/paste the working button code from the working page to the non-working page and test again.

Then you’ll need to inspect the CSS and make the necessary modifications. It sounds like this is related to the styles in your theme footer.

Any chance you can you provide us links to the pages so we can test?

Hi Mary,

Have you tried removing other URI restrictions? I would start with allowing Level 0 to access /profile/ and /settings/ and see if that fixes the problem.

Hi Kati,

The next major release of s2Member should support this, but we don’t yet have a release date set for that. It should be soon though as we’re getting ready to start testing a beta soon.

Hi Adam,

Regarding Client Portals, please see Video » s2Member (Client Portals?).

s2Member does not allow users to “edit” content, since all s2Member Levels are based on the WordPress Subscriber role, which does not have capabilities for editing. It is possible to customize the s2Member Level capabilities using a 3rd party plugin such as the Role Editor plugin, however we wouldn’t be able to provide support for such modifications.

Unfortunately, this isn’t possible with the current features, however you may be able to use the s2Member Hooks to create your own custom hack to make this work.

Hi Damen,

No, s2Member does not have any built-in affiliate system. The feature you mentioned still requires iDevAffiliate.

Hi Bahi,

These functions are not directly supported by s2Member, so you will need to do some custom programming or find a 3rd party plugin that provides these functions. I don’t personally know of any plugins to recommend, but you may want to post your query in the Community Forum to see if other s2Member users have any recommendations.

Hi Silver,

It sounds like your web server might be running a reverse proxy that is causing PHP to have problems detect the remote IP address. I believe s2Member is using the PHP $_SERVER[‘remote_addr’] variable to retrieve the remote IP address. Please ask your web host why that is always returning the web server’s IP address.

This is a problem on the server side, so you must consult with your web host.

Hi Kyle,

You’ll need to modify the Pro-Form templates (see Pre Sale FAQs » Is it possible to modify s2Member® Pro Form templates?) and add your own code to pull the custom fields and fill them in. Please see this thread for more information.

Hi Rance,

If you want to move s2Member to a new domain, you just need to update your domain within your account on s2member.com. After you move s2Member to a new domain, you’ll need to update the s2Member settings (Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Options) to point to the new domain (the IPN URL, Auto-Return URL, etc.) after you move to the new domain.
