Hi Juan, I’m sorry to hear you’re having so much trouble. We do offer installation support for users of s2Member Pro, however support is limited for users of the free version of the plugin. The first thing I recommend doing is making sure there is nothing wrong with your server environment. Please download this Server Check Tool, upload the PHP file to your WordPress directory, and then load the URL to the file in your browser. It will run a bunch of tests to determine if there’s anything amiss on the server-side. |

Hi Lavish, s2Member’s BuddyPress integration works by restricting specific URIs. You can restrict a set of URI endpoints to a particular membership level. Please install the free version of the plugin and then visit Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Restriction Options -› URI Access Restrictions for more details. |

Hi Thomas, I’m not sure if you’re saying there is still a problem or if you’ve solved it. Is there still a problem? |

Hi Sheila, Did you create those Custom Registration Fields using s2Member? Have you made sure the “Applicable Membership Level” setting for each field is set to the appropriate Pro-Form level? If the answer to both those questions is yes, and you’re still not seeing the Custom Registration Fields appear on the Pro-Form, then the problem is most likely that you’re viewing the form while logged in. Please make sure you’re not logged in when viewing the Pro-Form. |

Hi George, The s2Member Network Multisite license does allow you to restrict the number of subblogs a member can create depending on their membership level, however you’d need to use a 3rd party plugin to restrict the plugins allowed to those users. s2Member only limits the number of subsites a member can create in a Multisite network. |

Hi Mark, I’m not sure how this is related to s2Member. Are you trying to protect the feeds with s2Member? A few more details about what you’re trying to do would be helpful. |

Hi Brooke, The meaning of the symbols are not important. You simply need to create the Custom Email Parser inside your AWeber account and copy the rules directly exactly as you see them. After configuring Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / List Servers -› AWeber®, s2Member will send an email to AWeber to subscribe new members to your AWeber list (that Custom Parser reads the email that s2Member sends to AWeber and then parses the contents of the email, pulling out the persons name and email address and adding them to your AWeber list). I’m not sure what you’re referring to by “custom unique fields”. Integrating s2Member with AWeber does not require any unique fields at all. |

Hi Ben, Please see my replies below:
No, s2Member does not have any mechanism for listing members or creating a member directory. If you need this feature, you’ll need to find another WordPress plugin that lists WordPress users, or write your own code to have this done (WordPress provides functions for retrieving a list of users). All s2Member users are WordPress users, so any WordPress plugin that creates a directory using WordPress users should work.
Yes, when a s2Member’s subscription expires (or if there is a failed payment), s2Member can be configured to delete the user (see Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Options -› Automatic EOT Behavior).
s2Member does not currently provide this feature, however you may be able to find a 3rd Party plugin that provides this feature. Otherwise, you could create your own custom integration using the many s2Member Hooks that we make available (see s2Member Hooks).
s2Member is simply a WordPress plugin that allows you to generate forms and buttons for various payment gateways and restrict various posts/pages/categories/tags/URIs. s2Member should work with the Genesis Framework, however we recommend testing it with the free version of s2Member just to be sure. |

The Login Welcome Page is not the “login page”. The Login Welcome Page is the page that people are sent to after logging in. The login page is at /wp-login.php. The Membership Options Page is the page that people are sent to if they try to attempt to access a page that is protected and which they don’t have access to. It’s designed to be the page where you show the sign up form (i.e., options to obtain membership). |

Hi Mary, Another thing I would check is the communication between your server and PayPal. If you’re suddenly not getting anything in the IPN log that would indicate that PayPal is unable to communicate with your server. The first thign I’d recommend is downloading this Server Check Tool, uploading the PHP file to your WordPress directory, and then loading the URL to the file in your browser. It will run a bunch of tests to determine if there’s anything amiss on the server-side. If that checks out, I recommend going to your PayPal account and looking for the IPN transaction log. It shows you whether PayPal’s attempt to send IPN messages were successful or not. It might show what error (if any) is being reported. |

Hi Sheila, You can generate various Level membership forms in Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Pro Forms -› Membership Level # Forms. We recommend creating a separate page for each Level registration form and then placing the generated shortcode for each level on a page. If you want to create something dynamic that automatically changes the registration form depending on a drop-down selection, you’ll need to write some JavaScript and/or use dynamic shortcode attributes. |

Hi Luke, You may want to post this in the Community Forum to see if any other s2Member users have any recommendations. Adding a custom Payment Gateway is an advanced task that requires knowledge of PHP. If you’re not comfortable with PHP, we recommend posting your job on jobs.wordpress.net. |

Hi Carrie, So you’ve tried uploading the s2member-pro folder to the wp-content/plugins/ directory via FTP? Normally that would be my recommendation, to upload it via FTP. However, if you’ve already tried that, then I suggest trying to disable the s2Member Framework plugin and then reenable it (first make sure Deactivation Safeguards are enabled in Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Deactivation Safeguards). If that doesn’t work either, then you may have a permissions issue on your server, in which case I recommend contacting your web host to see if they can check to make sure the permissions on your uploaded s2member-pro folder are correct. |

Hi Barry, For problems with emails, please see Knowledge Base » Troubleshooting Email Delivery Problems. For a tutorial on how Custom Capabilities work, please see Video » s2Member (Custom Capabilities). With Custom Capabilities, you don’t need to create a custom capability for each page, you can simply create one Custom Capability and the restrict a selection of pages to that Custom Capability (when you edit the page, there’s an s2Member box on the page that has a field for entering the required Custom Capabilities). The 100% free voucher system is a custom solution and our support policy is limited in what we can offer in terms of support for custom code. If you’re not comfortable with PHP, we recommend posting your job on jobs.wordpress.net. |
