Hi Jim, The s2Member plugin is not designed for restricting (or allowing) access to WordPress admin features (such as editing and publishing posts/pages). All of the s2Member Levels are based on the WordPress Subscriber role capabilities, which only allows viewing of content. If you need to allow an s2Member Level user access to publishing content, or submitting content for review, you’ll need to make your own customizations to the s2Member Level role capabilities (using a Role Editor plugin) and then you’ll need to write the necessary code for creating a form that submits the post data and saves it as a draft for review. |

Hi Thomas, WordPress requires a unique username for each user, in addition to a unique email address. However, it is possible to create a hack that automatically generates a username in the background and then hides the username field from the user during the registration process. This gives the effect of not requiring a username. You can then use a plugin like WP Email Login to allow your users to login with their email address instead of their username (which they won’t even know they have). For more information about this hack, please see this thread. |

Hi Ashley, s2Member is a WordPress plugin. We support any theme that is coded to the WordPress recommended standards for WordPress themes. If you’d like to double-check compatibility with your theme, I recommend downloading and installing the free version of s2Member first. While uncommon, theme conflicts do occasionally come up with badly coded themes. |

Fantastic. Thank you very much for explaining and sharing your solution, David. I think that’s the best way to achieve what you’re trying to do. The admin JS, if I remember correctly, loads the way it does so that s2Member can optimize it through the s2member-o.php script. |

Unfortunately I don’t have a list of confirmed features for the next major release, but I have been told to expect support for Stripe in the next major release. |

Hello, This is not currently possible, but you may be able to make such a modification yourself by Customizing the WordPress Login Form. |

Hi Shawn, Have you followed the Common Troubleshoot Tips? If those don’t help, I recommend following the advice in Troubleshooting Email Delivery Problems. Finally, if you haven’t already, I recommend enabling logging (Dashboard -› s2Member® -› ClickBank® Options -› Account Details -› Logging), conducting another test transaction, and then checking the logs in wp-content/plugins/s2member-logs/ for any clues. |

Hello, We do not currently have a release date set for the next major release of the software, but we will make an announcement as soon as we’re ready. I can assure you that we’re working hard to get this next version out as soon as possible. |

Hi Gary, A user activity log is not currently a feature of s2Member, but since all s2Member users are WordPress users, you might be able to find a 3rd party plugin that provides the user activity log functionality. |

Hi David, Are you referring to Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Registration/Profile Fields, on the WordPress Dashboard-side? Could you please explain what you’re trying to do? |

Hi Therman, s2Member doesn’t have any file uploading functionality — that’s handled by the WordPress Media Upload feature. There’s also no “stats” feature like the one you described, nor a “Dashboard” — s2Member users have no access to the WordPress Dashboard: they are restricted to the viewing of content. There also are no Order History or list of Notifications features. s2Member does have a Custom Registration/Profile Fields feature (Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Registration/Profile Fields) where you can create Custom Profile Fields and then have those show up on the registration form. If you’re unsure if s2Member is right for you, I recommend downloading the free version of the plugin and trying it out. |

Hi Johnny, As cassel mentioned, you’d need to use the Custom Capabilities feature of s2Member. If you restrict content by Custom Capability, then only members with those Custom Capabilities will have access to the content, regardless of which level they are (that way you can give Level 2 and Level 3 users different sets of Custom Capabilities and Level 3 users won’t see Level 2 content unless they have the necessary Custom Capability). |

Hello, cassel is correct: At this time, s2Member only supports one recurring subscription per s2Member account. If you need to add additional features and charge additional recurring amounts, you can do that with the Billing Modification forms (Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Pro Forms -› Billing Modification Forms), but that will simply be modifying the existing subscription. It’s not currently possible to have 12 separate recurring monthly charges with one s2Member account. |

Hi Jon, You mention that everything is working except that “the JVZoo system still tells me that my JVZoo buy buttons are not installed and verified”. It sounds like since you’re using the s2Member shortcodes and not the JVZoo buttons, the JVZoo service isn’t going to detect any JVZoo buttons being used. But if everything else is working, does it matter that JVZoo reports the buttons are not installed? |

Hi Jim, Yes, s2Member Pro supports this through the Pro Affiliate Coupons (Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Pro Coupon Codes -› Affiliate Coupon Codes). If you haven’t already, I highly recommend reading through the inline documentation in that section. Could you tell me how you’re determining the Pro Affiliate Coupons are not “tracking to iDevAffiliate”? |

Do you have any caching plugins enabled? Could you try deactivating those and testing the page again? Also, it shouldn’t matter, but out of curiosity could you try changing the single-quotes to double-quotes and see if that does anything:

Hi Jorge, I don’t have any experience with those other plugins, but I can say that it would make more sense to authenticate against one database instead of having multiple copies of the account. Multiple copies of the account would require syncing changes to things like email addresses and passwords. That said, s2Member uses the WordPress authentication system, so all of what you’re doing would take place at the WordPress level, not the s2Member level. s2Member cannot currently restrict content on other WordPress sites, as s2Member is a WordPress plugin and its reach is limited to the WordPress installation where it’s installed. |

Hi Luis, You can use the single-site license on dev servers no problem. The single-site license for one site only applies to the live, production version of the site. |

Hello, I don’t know of any feature in BuddyPress or bbPress that allows you to “regenerate” for new students, but s2Member can certainly restrict areas in both of those plugins using the URI Restrictions (Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Restriction Options -› URI Access Restrictions). |

Hi William, If you’re receiving the “Please Confirm Subscription” email, that means the s2Member -> MailChimp integration is working properly. If you click the confirmation link from MailChimp, receive a “Subscription Confirmed” message, but then don’t see the email appear on your MailChimp list, that would indicate a problem on MailChimp’s side. Everything past initiating the subscription (i.e., telling MailChimp to subscribe a user, thereby triggering the “Please Confirm Subscription” email) is handled by MailChimp and not s2Member. |

Viruthagiri, If you click the blue “Screen Options” button in the top right of the screen, you’ll see where you can uncheck the columns you don’t want to see in the All Users table. |

Hi Scott, When you create PayPal-hosted buttons, I believe you get to choose the type of button you’re creating. If you choose a Subscription button, it will ask you for details about the length of the subscription. If you’re not sure about how to create a PayPal-hosted buttons, I recommend checking the PayPal help section. |
