Hi Andy. According to [hilite mono]ra="3.50" rp="1" rt="M"[/hilite], the customer would be charged 3.50 mothly by PayPal. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Buttons -› Shortcode Attributes (Explained)[/hilite] To change the amount, you’d need to try that from PayPal, s2Member can’t change it. If PayPal doesn’t let you change the recurring amount, then you’d need to cancel the subscription and have the user start a new one with the new amount. If what you want is to have the first month’s payment be different from the following ones, I’d use the initial term for that. I hope that helps. :) |

James, that’s great news! I’m glad you found the problem. :) I’m not sure what code JW needs to specify the image. Have you tried the video shortcode by Philly for s2Member? From what I read there, it lets you specify the thumbnail image. http://phillymax.com/web/s2member-video-shortcode/ Bruno, there was another user getting the same openssl_sign error. Yesterday Jason pointed out what the problem could be, and the user just confirmed that it solved the the problem. Could you check if that’s the same for you, please? http://www.s2member.com/forums/topic/s2member-file-download-with-s3-integration/#post-31646 |

Hi Andy. Are you selling a subscription or each month separately with buy-now transactions? Could you show me the shortcode for the button, please? Thanks. :) |

Hi Emmanuel. I’m not sure I understand the_field(‘id_model’), is that your actual code? Where is your the_field function defined? Or did you mean get_field. If so, then the code should probably be: [hilite pre_code][/hilite] |

Hi Pushkar. I’m glad you solved the problem. :) Regarding caching, object caching should be disabled, since it’s know to conflict with s2Member. Also make sure that pages with an s2Member form aren’t cached. Although s2Member makes an attempt to prevent caching in those pages, sometimes it’s not enough and the caching plugin needs to be instructed specifically not to cache them. I hope that helps. |

Hi Marlin. You’d need to hack s2Member, I’m not sure where, though. If you used a button without integrating it with s2Member, the old former subscr. ID would not be removed, but not access would be give either. So that’s not very helpful, unless you manage the new paid access manually. |

Hi Gray. Right, you should have an IPN log too… Whatever is causing that to fail, may explain the lack of signup confirmation email too. Could you do a plugin conflict test? http://www.s2member.com/kb/common-troubleshooting-tips/#plugins I’ll also email Jason to ask for his thoughts on this. You can send the login info using this form: s2Member® » Private Contact Form |

Hi Michael. I don’t see what’s wrong with it. Have you tried asking VaultPress why it’d throw a security alert? |

Hi Emily. As a developer, we ask that your clients get their licenses under their own name. Please see the policy here: http://www.s2member.com/prices/#s2-terms-license-types
I hope that helps. :) |

No, users are created by WordPress, s2Member isn’t the one assigning the IDs. You’d need to find how to hack WordPress to do that. |

Hi Joel. I’m sorry, we can’t confirm those things, or give a time estimate yet. For all of those, there are things you can already do/use: http://www.s2member.com/forums/topic/setting-up-eot-notifications/ http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/amr-users/ http://www.s2member.com/forums/topic/admin-registration-approval/#post-26789 I hope that helps. :) |

Cool. You could also do without the variables and just echo the strings: [hilite pre_code]if (in_array('ziplevel2', get_field('zipfiles')) && current_user_is('s2member_level2')) echo 'Zip Level 2 '; else echo 'Zip Level 2 '; [/hilite] |

Hi Ed. It’s possible that emails won’t be sent in Sandbox mode, at least that’s the case with the PayPal integration. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Options -› Account Details -› Sandbox[/hilite]
Have you tested with a live 1 cent transaction? |

Hi Dan. Yes, it causes problems, so you shouldn’t use more than one pro-form in the same page. What you can do is give each its own page, and then link to them. You can see our prices page for an example: http://www.s2member.com/prices/ I hope that helps. :) |

Got it, thanks for explaining it. s2Member doesn’t apply any restrictions to the admin account, so it seems to be a session problem. Could you verify that this isn’t the issue? Knowledge Base » Logged in but am considered logged out |

Hi Brad.
Yes, they can. You could use the WooCommerce URLs over at PayPal, s2Member will set the URLs on a transaction basis. Please read these: [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Options -› PayPal® IPN Integration -> More Info[/hilite]
No, s2Member’s access can’t be sold with other systems yet. You can use the PayPal buttons/pro-forms. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Buttons[/hilite]
Yes, that’s fine, s2Member works with WordPress’ users. If WooCommerce does too, then they all use the same userbase. I hope that helps. :) |

Hi Mathias. Thanks for the update. So you were able to solve it after spotting what was causing the problem? Object caching is known to cause trouble, but database caching I had only seen mentioned once before. |

I’m not sure if you could protect parts of bbPress as you say. The documentation says that protecting a forum won’t protect the topics in it automatically. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Other Integrations -› bbPress®[/hilite]
If that isn’t a problem for what you want to do, you could read the rest of the documentation for it, and watch this video: Video » s2Member (bbPress Bridge Integration) You can also experiment with it, installing bbPress and trying out the restrictions to see if you can set up what you need. The URI restriction is very simple to use, you can read the documentation here: [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Restriction Options -› URI Access Restrictions[/hilite] |
