This is not possible with the ClickBank integration yet. It’s either one payment, or recurring until cancelled. :/

Hi Tom.

Could you show me a screenshot of how you entered the custom field for the post to be secured? It should be like this:

I see. I’m going to ask Jason about it, but tell me, are you sure that that user made another payment after signup?

Jonas, another thing you could try with the hack, is to add parsing for your own language replacement code.

Try the [hilite mono]ws_plugin__s2member_fill_login_redirect_rc_vars[/hilite] hook to str_replace [hilite mono]%%language%%[/hilite] in your hack. s2member\includes\classes\login-redirects.inc.php

I hope it helps. :)

These plugins may help:

http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/login-only-1-session/
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/single-user-login/

And we are considering this for the new s2Member being developed. :)

We have sold bundled pages in the exact same way since we launched the site a year ago and the double page access links did used to work, so it isn’t a matter of not noticing the issue.

Understood.

I tried deactivating all the plugins except s2member, then testing the links, and they still didn’t work correctly… so apparently none of my current plugins is causing the problem.

Thanks for testing it.

I still wonder if back in July when I installed the plugin “WP Event Registration”, it somehow messed things up in s2member. I deactivated it and deleted it, but could it have left some hidden files behind, or changed the code somewhere or something?

It’s a possibility.

Have you tried re-uploading the s2Member files? It’s worth a shot, in case one of them got corrupt for some reason… Create a backup of your site, make sure you have the Deactivation Safeguards enabled, and then re-upload the s2Member folder via FTP.

I guess what I was asking is, is there some way to add the “Digest options” through the “Add new field” portion of s2member?

I’m not sure what you mean by digest options.

Ditto for the avatar plugin. I’m not seeing it, but I thought I had read somewhere in your documentation that there was some way to add a new field that might include the code for these two items.

Avatars can’t be uploaded. One thing you could do with the custom fields, though, is ask for a URL to the avatar and then use that field to populate an HTML img tag. http://www.s2member.com/codex/stable/s2member/api_functions/package-functions/#src_doc_get_user_field%28%29

Or use an avatar plugin.

I guess on the “my profile” page I could add the code directly below the s2member profile code

Right, you could do that. Include the profile form first, and after that add other things. The other things won’t be submitted/edited with the profile form, though, since they’d be outside of it. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Scripting -› Member Profile Modifications[/hilite]

Hi Jonas.

I guess you may find a hook you can use in this file: s2member\includes\classes\mo-page-in.inc.php.

I hope it helps. :)

I see… Then I’d test to try finding a plugin conflict.

Cool. :)

Thanks.

Okay, I tried [hilite code][/hilite] in a draft, and that’s what’s being displayed when previewed, PHP is not being executed.

I’m guessing the pages you see still working, may be a cache copy from when you saw them last, before this started.

The problem is most probably with the PHP execution plugin. I don’t know if caused by a conflict with another plugin, or because the code is outdated. To test if it’s the plugin itself, you can try it in a clean installation of WP.

You may need to look for other PHP execution plugins to see if one of them works for you.

Posted: Sunday Oct 7th, 2012 at 8:14 am #27706

Hmm… Well, if the PHP code got corrupted before, for whatever reason, resaving will not fix it. Did you try pasting the correct code again?

I don’t know why the PHP Execution would work on some posts and not others if the code is the same and you’re always using the HTML editor. :/

You can send the login info and the IDs of the pages you want me to check, so I can take a quick look. s2Member® » Private Contact Form

Fred, maybe a developer here will see your job offer, but you may also want to post in freelancer sites like jobs.wordpress.net. :)

Hi ONO.

could it be that s2member overwrites some settings of http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/threewp-activity-monitor/? Unfortunately logins are not logged anymore. Can anyone confirm this behaviour?

I’m not familiar with that plugin, or how s2Member could be affecting it. s2Member has the Login Welcome redirection, or the OTO redirection, but the login still happens and I don’t see why it wouldn’t be logged.
[hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Login Welcome Page[/hilite]
[hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› One-Time Offers (Upon Login)[/hilite]

Those redirections are like using redirect_to, which is very usual and that plugin must be able to deal with it. Video » s2Member (Login Welcome Page Conflicts?)

To verify if the conflict is with s2Member, deactivate it and try the login logging again.

If that plugin has a compatibility problem with s2Member, then you can try another login logger plugin. I’m pretty sure a user once mentioned having used one successfully.

Also, as a second point, can you recommend a tracking plugin that is known to work well with s2member?

Well, Google Analytics can be used, but I guess any tracking solution could be used. s2Member has an API to make it easier to integrate with them. Video » s2Member (API Tracking/Notifications)

I hope it helps. :)

Hi George.

If the paypal parser is active, can it conflict with the custom parser?

Maybe, I never tried it. It would be safer to just use the custom one.

S2member is subscribing my free members to aweber, but as soon as they upgrade to level 1,
they are not getting subscribed to the level 1 list on aweber.

Please check your setting here: [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / List Servers -› Automate Unsubscribes/Opt-Outs -> Also Process List Transitions Automatically[/hilite]

I hope that helps. :)

Just to add, I’m using Paypal Standard now as I’ve just realized that Paypal Pro is not offering recurring billing, except for with Payflow Pro which in my opinion is a rip off in Australia.

Yeah, I heard PayFlow Pro is expensive. By the way, it’s not supported by s2Member yet. PayPal Pro (PayFlow Edition) is, but not PayFlow Pro.

Sure! I’m taking that as a feature request then. :)

Hi Brenda.

One thing I can’t figure out how to display is the user avatar. I have the plugin User Avatar v 1.4.11 by E Bajgoric which works with WP and bbpress — but maybe not with s2M? Is there a way to add that as another custom field?

Second, I also have Milan Dinic’s bbPress Digest v.2 installed. How do I get the option for that added as a special field?

s2Member doesn’t have an interface to customize its profile form. You’ll need to hack the source files for it to achieve it.

If they try to click on the special toolbar “howdy” option at the top of the screen, it does nothing (which is okay IF they can access their s2member profiles elsewhere). HOWEVER, when I log in as admin, I cannot get to the special login page at all, no matter what I click on on the site’s menu bar (home button or welcome). When I click on the toolbar “howdy” profile option, I only go to the more detailed one. Am I stuck with that since I’m an admin?

Did you customize the profile modifications using the s2Member setting for it? [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Member Profile Modifications[/hilite]

s2Member doesn’t restrict the admin, so this may be why you have a different behavior when logged in to the admin account.

Hi Tony.

I’m not sure how the custom template works with BuddyPress. I know that the custom template can be place in either the theme’s folder, or the wp-content one.

Jason Caldwell said:

Pro Form templates can appear in the following locations represented by WordPress PHP Constants.

TEMPLATEPATH
WP_CONTENT_DIR

If a template exists in both locations, the template inside WP_CONTENT_DIR will be used, as it has the highest precedence.

Example: /wp-content/themes/my-theme/paypal-checkout-form.php
Example: /wp-content/paypal-checkout-form.php

I’m not sure how BP affects those constants, but those are the ones s2Member users for the custom template.

I hope it helps. :)

Benny, it could be that you used the Visual editor by mistake without realizing it… When you have PHP code in a page, you should never switch to the Visual editor, always stick to the HTML one.

Let me know if that helps.

Hi David.

No idea, really…

Does your site have some kind of backup restore thing or cron that may cause it? s2Member doesn’t go deleting itself, and if you had it active and working, I don’t the installation may have been wrong, or it wouldn’t have worked at all.

These are the installation instructinos:
s2Member® » Framework » Install/Upgrade Instructions
s2Member® » Pro » Install/Upgrade Instructions

Ah, it’d be good to verify that the Deactivation Safeguards are enabled, so you don’t lose all your s2Member data when the plugin gets deactivated (this include plugin updates).

Not sure what to advice, other than ask your web host if they have some kind of log that may show what happened with the s2Member folder.

Let us know how it goes, please. Hopefully you’ll find the source of the problem and solve it without too much trouble.

Hi J.

You may want to check out the Options Export/Import tool. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Import/Export -› s2Member® Options[/hilite]

I hope it helps. :)

Ah, I see. I had not thought someone would want to rebrand it on the admin side too, so I misunderstood your question, sorry.

Well, we don’t have a white-lable or rebrandable option for s2Member. The files are editable, though, so you could hack them to do that, but if the client is using s2Member Pro, he still needs his own license and will know it’s s2Member. http://www.s2member.com/prices/#s2-terms-license-types

Please note… if you’re a developer, your clients will need to purchase their own Single-Site and/or Unlimited-Site License. We will not support s2Member® Product instances on domains that you do NOT own and operate yourself. We invite all developers to join our affiliate program, and refer their clients to s2Member.com, where your clients may purchase an s2Member® Product of their own. This also gives your clients access to future releases.
