Hello Martin, Well, URI restrictions work quite well for us. We’re using them here in s2member.com, and as we expect, if you’re not a paid user you can’t access the customer forums. What exactly do you see missing with URI restrictions? What do you want to achieve that you can’t with URI restrictions? Examples would be nice. :) – Eduan |

Hello Ed, I don’t understand what you mean, could you please elaborate a little bit more?
How do you mean? You can choose to have the user use a buy-now button or a subscribe button. The first one will only require the user to pay once to get access for the specified amount of time. The second will grant the user access for as long as he can keep paying the subscription. Does that answer your question?
Need to understand the first question first. :) – Eduan |

Hello there, I read your question, and I can see your concerns. To answer your first question, you would simply need to have some PHP that depends on these drip conditionals that s2Member has. If a certain drip conditional is true then simply with some PHP magic give the user the ccap that you wish. You can figure out the PHP needed for this checking the s2Member codex: s2Member® » Codex (Source Code Docs) To answer your second question, I’m not sure what cold be causing this issue. So the ccap protected folder is named hflbible correct? And it’s protected with the ccap named “hflbible” (without the quotes) correct? First, try renaming this folder to access-s2member-ccap-hlfbible. Otherwise it won’t be protected by ccaps. :) The file you’re offering for download is named “HFL Bible (c) 2012.pdf” (without the quotes) correct? This is not a valid file name. Try renaming it to “HFL-Bible-(c)-2012.pdf” (without the qoutes) for example. Because spaces are not valid in a URL. ;) The URL would now be: Tell me how it goes. :) |

Hello Boudewijn, That’s strange. AFAIK neither of these plugins have this functionality implemented. It’s probably some other plugin or WordPress itself (probably WordPress) formatting the post. Do the double quotes remain as double quotes in the code view? Or do they turn into HTML IDs? – Eduan |

Hello Brian, No, in this kind of case s2Member will not automatically update the user’s subscription AFAIR. In order to change levels the user will have to use a modification button, which will automatically change the user’s subscriptions to whatever applies. Check under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Pro Forms -› Billing Modification Forms for pro-forms or under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Buttons -› Subscr. Modification Buttons for buttons. :) – Eduan |

Yes. s2Member works with user accounts. So if you want your users to subscribe to your newsletter and get to the content after that, one thing you can do is have the user register WHILE subscribing to the newsletter. However at the end the user will have to register as the website’s user. :/ – Eduan |

Well the only problem I can find with it is the fact that the custom attribute has the main domain as a value. Tryc hanging that to the actual URL of your website. So instead of “domain.com” it should be “sub.domain.com” or “domain.com/sub”, depending on which one is the case. That’s really the only problem I can find with it… – Eduan |

Hello Stephen, We can’t really provide customer info without their permission. If the user doesn’t show contact info in his user profile it’s possible he doesn’t want to be contacted. In any case you could probably find the user online in other profiles and not just s2Member’s. You could find him in Google for example. – Eduan |

Oh for that you would simply upload it to your website or your Amazon or whatever you prefer. And you would put a link here. And whoever comes across this post looking for a Russian translation will find the download link and use it. It should be something that allows you to change the file but the download link remains the same, so that you can update the file without worrying about this post. – Eduan |

Hello Mark, No, it shouldn’t take 6 hours to process a payment. Perhaps it was a temporary issue at PayPal? Does it happen with every payment? Try several test payments and see if they happen instantly or if every one takes 6 hours. – Eduan |

Hello Cedric, Could you please elaborate a little bit? Take into account that s2Member works with WordPress users. Would your users subscribe to the newsletter after registering or while registering? Would they just input their email into a field, click a button and that would make them count as subscribed to the newsletter? Without any kind of registering or account creation? – Eduan |
