Hello Amy, It seems s2member.com does not recognize that you bought s2Member pro. How did you get s2Member pro? If you have proof of purchase then I can ask Elizabeth to upgrade you to a paid member. :) I’m not able to provide help with your problem, so if you upgrade successfully you can post in the customer forums so that a support representative may answer you. :) – Eduan |

Hello Danny, could you please post the entire error? “Error. Please contact Support for assistance.” doesn’t help us know what error it is. :) – Eudan |

I’m not sure if that would cause a problem. Could you please try with a clean installation of WordPress? A newly installed WordPress and try activating s2Member in that website. Basically a clean install of WordPress + s2Member. :) – Eduan |

Hello Senthil, Yes this is possible by manually editing the PayPal shortcode. You just need to change the rt attribute to D I believe. And you need to change the rp attribute to 25. That would make it 25 days instead of 1 month. Get it? You can study all the shortcode attributes under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Buttons -› Shortcode Attributes (Explained). – Eduan |

Hello GSJ, If you are already logged-in then it’s probably the reason why you can’t see it. Try logging out and see if it works. – Eduan |

It doesn’t matter in which page it is. As long as it’s a WordPress page. :) We just recommend using the membership options page because it’s the page where users get redirected to if they try to access content they can’t, but it’s not the only place where you can do it. :) – Eduan |

If you can run it in a clean installation, and it works, then it means that either your theme, another plugin, or something else that’s not there by default is causing the problem. Could you please try all of these common troubleshooting tips, even those that you have already tried, just in case: – Eduan |

You can have users re-directed to a certain page only the first time they login. The pro version of s2Member allows you to send users to certain pages depending on which time this is they have logged-in. Would this work for you? – Eduan |

Hello Frank, I’m afraid this is not currently possible. You can’t track how many times a user has logged-out. s2Member logs user logins, however it’s not in a way that you can show it to the user. It’s just in the log files, which are .txt files. – Eduan |

Hello there, There are ways to customize the EOT, you would simply go to edit the user and go under the s2Member section. However, for new users I recommend another approach, have some code that calculates the days left to those dates and have it output that into the shortcode, instead of a set date. Would that work for you? – Eduan |

Hello Teresa,
No this has not been added yet. However it’s definitely coming in the next generation of s2Member, which will come out some time this year.
To answer your question, no this is not possible. Even WordPress itself only has access to the password for a very short amount of time during registration. After that time it’s encrypted and stored in the database, you cannot retrieve it.
That is correct. An email will be sent to whatever email account you setup. |

If you reset the restrictions then the punishment would stop I believe. However in the future it will still happen. It only blocks your client correct? Could you check if he’s using a mobile device or a laptop when logging in? Some internet providers provide you with dynamic IPs, which change every time you use the internet, and so it’s not strange for this IP to kick in. – Eduan |

Ah I see. Well if you’re using PayPal buttons then they must definitely enter their payment info before registration, since they pay first and then the user is given the registration form. You can definitely have trials. So it’s all about checking s2Member and see if it has what you need. :) – Eduan |

That’s right Nick. No I’m afraid there isn’t any documentation right now. Just remember you would need the pro version. The registration form would be a pro-form, and the login form would be the login widget that s2Member provides (which you can call through PHP). – Eduan |

Hello Hardi, This is a problem caused by something JavaScript. Normally it’s other plugins or the theme but since that doesn’t seem to be the case right now. Could you please make sure you have JavaScript enabled? If it is enabled could you please try running s2Member on a clean installation of WordPress (a freshly installed version in other words). – Eduan |

Hello Nick, Yes this is possible, but you would need the pro version, and it would require you to do the fancy stuff yourself. s2Member pro will only provide the login and registration forms in other words, the rest will have to be done by you. – Eduan |

You need to fix them. :) The warning level error you get is probably the cause for this problem. The notice is only a “it’s better if, but not necessary” kind of error. :) – Eduan |
