ooohhh geeezzzeee

My membership authorize.net is showing the same Page not Found!

Posted: Sunday Jun 24th, 2012 at 5:09 pm #17300

Well i have found a useful plugin that just uses a simple shortcode for this EOT. This is the simplicity that I needed.

Posted: Sunday Jun 24th, 2012 at 4:52 pm #17294

I’m in the > API / Notifications and can’t seem to wrap my mind on it. I’m using https across the board. Will this work and I’m guessing now I need another separate page for this EOT?

Posted: Sunday Jun 24th, 2012 at 2:34 pm #17287

Im in the user info on the profile test account and do not see an EOT. Is there a short-code for this where I can show this EOT in various areas? Definitely not in the update billing or the members home page.

Posted: Saturday Jun 23rd, 2012 at 5:02 pm #17257

Everything seems to be working other than I can’t see the trial period, or when it ends.

Posted: Saturday Jun 23rd, 2012 at 4:05 pm #17253

I’m doing a free registration on Level 0 for a week with limited access to the full members area.

The code I’m using is:
[s2Member-Pro-AuthNet-Form register=”1″ level=”0″ desc=”Signup for a Free test drive for 7 days!” custom=”themassagecoupon.com” tt=”W” regular term = Week captcha=”blackglass” /]

Everything works fine. I just need a way to where the free reg. will see how much time is left before they need to purchase one of the membership plans.

thank you kindly for your support!

Posted: Thursday Jun 21st, 2012 at 2:15 pm #17144

How does the free registered user able to see how much time is left until they have to purchase one of the plans? Thx.

Posted: Wednesday Jun 20th, 2012 at 10:47 pm #17063

Hmm…

looking at the code from the pro authorize form to create the short-code, i see there is both the tt= and the tp=. Do i need these both or can I use either or?

Do i need these part of the short-codes in the paid members area too? Would love to omit this part of the shortcodes, but I’m guessing it’s a part of the time frame the member has purchased. thx.

WoW! Thanks Brother DW!!!

So the numeral in the first example tp=”5″ would represent 5 days…..

Peace ;-)

Oh wow! That’s really a nice upgrade considering I’m veering away from PP and have registered my own gateway.

Nice to know for another site I’m using for a normal shopping cart app.

You don’t need S2 to password protect as many separate pages as you want. You don’t even need the s2 because from what it sounds like, your not membership geared. This is just a temporary page or pages that are password protected. If it were me, I would make it more simple and just give your client the password w/ the link to the area that is protected. You don’t even need a user name for this, just the password. To add another layer of protection, have your image directory non-accessible from just browsing the image directory. You could do the same for the actual directory where these pro galleries can reside, but that would be an elongated pain in the … for your clients if they have to go through 2 layers of using a password to view a proof gallery. You can also use a Captcha/Re-Captcha along w/ your password protected pages. I also use a plugin called Invisible Defender that is no longer active, but I still use it because it still works. Their are other WP Security Plugins that can add an extra layer of protection. If your hosting 100’s-1000’s of people, then I would definitely secure my domain on an SSL. Some people call me whacky for using the SSL on the entire site, but as a webmaster, I can sleep at night a lot better.

If your accepting money transfers during this proof gallery phase, then you definitely need the S2.

Now for your existing clients that have paid and have gone through the proof gallery, this is where the real power of S2 comes into play. You can have a membership portal to where your clients can display their online gallery for friends, family, clients, etc. You can even have gallery players that anyone could copy/paste the code on any website. This is where viral marketing comes into play with branding your logo, etc.

Hope this helps…

To my understanding, you would have to use the PayPal Standard or the PPExpress.

Posted: Saturday Apr 14th, 2012 at 11:33 am #10801

Generally the Gateway I thought handles all this. Or you can use a service that a lot of people use called Speedly. I found the service from another WP shopping cart/membership plugin I’ve purchased. I don’t know how this would work w/ the s2, but from what I’ve notice, s2 works pretty much w/ any other functional plugin.

Hope this helps as your feature may require additional plugins too.

You mean Paypal Payments Advanced is different than the PP Pro account? The S2 supports anything and everything you want to do with Paypal. The only thing that V Terminal means to my understanding is that you manually charge the CC transaction. Nothing is automatic unless your using the Recurring option.

PP Pro is a fully automated gateway that you can use in the same fashion as another gateway such as Authorize or Quantum. This of course requires an SSL and dedicated IP to support the SSL.

Hope I’m on the proper answer here…

So each login page is separate/different for each client?

When you say secure pages, do you mean they are password protected and/or on a SSL?

Would it be ok if they register at the same time of the checkout, then have them go to a Thank You page w/ a login link? Just wondering….

This link here may help too:

This plugin seems to be what your looking for or @ least you can view to function code and make it better. It has a high rating and may be a worthy time saver.

http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/peters-login-redirect/

Whatever its worth, I use a Forum Plugin that comes with this feature because by default your logout redirect goes to the forum login and had to find the settings to omit the redirect all together. This forum plugin also comes w/ a Login redirect & Registration redirect: It will also has a 4th option for a, Login URL in new user email: I don’t know how these work w/ s2 other than I know it effects the logout for sure.

Hope this helps! ;-)

For some reason its not going to the default receipt/thank you page. Its just showing the response codes and that’s it. To my understanding there is a default receipt confirmation process that comes with the s2Member with a link that allows the new user to login.

Double checking in the Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Authorize.Net® Options

1. Authorize.Net® Account Details: Copy/Paste the 1st three options. Bottom 2 options are YES for sandbox & log files.

2. Authorize.Net® Silent Post Integration: Copy/Paste the .com/?s2member_pro_authnet_notify=1 to the Authorize settings in > Account -> Settings -> Silent Post URL

3. Signup Confirmation Email: While Not using PayPal in anyway, I went and added my email @ the s2Member -> PayPal® Options in the 1st option filed. Also have the same email address in the s2Member® General Options > Email Configuration.

4. Specific Post/Page Confirmation Email: Leaving the options blank found in the -> s2Member® Restriction Options -> Restriction Specific Post/Page Access Restrictions. Doing this to use the default receipt/thank you confirmation. This is to my understanding in this option filed.

5. No Tax

6. Authorize.Net® EOT Behavior:

a: Enable s2Member’s Auto-EOT System? YES (Enabled)
b: Membership EOT Behavior ( demote or delete )? Demote
c: Greyed-Out to manual review
d: Fixed-Term Extensions ( auto-extend )? YES (Default, Auto)

Now I’m in the s2Member® -> Restriction Options

The only fields being used are as follows:

In the second field option of -> Page Level Access Restrictions, there are all my membership pages filled in the -> Pages That Require Level #1 Or Higher:

-> Alternative View Protection: Filter ALL WordPress® is selected.

-> Unique IP Access Restrictions: Maximum Unique IP Addresses Allowed: Disabled and the Security Breach Timeout Period: is set to 1 Hour.

Anything else you can think of?
