This is likely the problem. Your user’s permissions must have been changed by GoDaddy when you created it.
You should be able to reset your password for admin. Try going to /wp-login.php?action=lostpassword and see if that works for you. — If you cannot get this up and running soon, you will most likely need to reinstall WordPress, while moving Posts/Pages with you so that you don’t lose your data. It sounds like something got corrupted with your Database. You should be able to export the wp_posts and wp_postmeta tables via PHPMyAdmin and then Import them when you reinstall WordPress. Personally, I would recommend *not* using the GoDaddy WordPress installer, and just copying the files over via FTP, if it comes down to reinstalling WordPress. |

Hi Desmond, Sounds like you were still logged in to your site when you created the user. Try logging out before going to checkout to ensure this doesn’t happen again. Also, don’t use the same email address as is linked with your Admin account. |

Hi Ganaxi, You could add an onsubmit=”” event to the Form if you know a little JavaScript. You can find the templates under /s2member-pro/includes/templates/ |

s2Member provides the ability to set up an affiliate system through Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Tracking. However s2Member is not, in itself, an affiliate program. This needs to be set up separately from s2Member.
s2Member will be able to sign users up, and provide access restriction. However, you’ll need to set up external functionality to have users under other users, and populate fields so that s2Member can provide access restrictions. |

Hi Leisl,
The trial set up by s2Member will go directly through PayPal, and users will need to enter their details before the trial begins. If you’d like to give users a way to get free access for a specific amount of time, you could use Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Pro Forms -› Registration Access Links. |

Hi Ganaxi,
If users signed up with a PayPal subscription, which is auto-recurring, the subscription amount that was set up when they signed up will be used. If, however, they cancel and have to sign back up, the new rate will be applied. This is because s2Member only creates the form to send to PayPal to start the transaction. PayPal just uses the info on a per-click basis to set the price. |

Hi Scott, s2Member does not (by default) support HTML in the Welcome Email. You can change this by using the info provided in this post, though: http://www.s2member.com/forums/topic/better-solutions-for-html-in-welcome-email/ |

Hi Scott,
This should work correctly, as s2Member does not natively support admin access, and none of s2Member’s roles allow access to anything that you might not want users to be able to access. However, instead of changing the default user role completely, you may just want to add permissions to do what you want to the s2Member levels that you have set up. This way you won’t run into any issues in the future with Content Dripping, or using conditionals. Also, you’ll want to disable the admin redirect if you want users to be able to access
The My Account link should still work, even if you’re only using free subscriptions. It uses the url set up in Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Login Welcome Page. Please ensure that your Login Welcome Page is set up correctly. |

Hi Tom, Unfortunately the s2Member/PayPal setup requires a PayPal account for recurring billing, no matter what. I’m unsure if there is a known workaround. I’ll ask our dev team if they have any solutions for you. |

Hi Jordan, Sorry to hear that you’re having issues. s2Member recently went through a change to optimize the CSS/JS loading times (when the s2member-o.php file was introduced). s2Member does load CSS/JS dynamically from this file. However the CSS and JavScript is compressed and put into just a couple files. As you can see, s2Member’ files are packaged within 2 files on your setup. The problems seems to be that these 2 files are quite large and therefore show up as outliers in your setup comparatively. Do you notice any performance issues while loading pages with s2Member, as opposed to loading without s2Member? |

Hi Marc, That’s interesting. It sounds like something happened with your bbPress setup that caused your user’s permissions to get screwed somehow. I did a bit of searching, and it looks like this has happened to some users of bbPress in the past. They recommend downloading this plugin, and using it’s repair feature to fix your WordPress database. |

Hi Mark, Within s2Member’s Authorize.net processes this happens when Authorize.Net does not send all data that is required to complete the processes s2Member needs to do. This usually happens when Authorize.Net’s IPN is set up incorrectly, but it can be caused by a server conflict. Try going through these Knowledge Base » Common Troubleshooting Tips, and running this Server Check Tool on your server. |

Hi JB, That’s interesting. Can you try running this Server Check Tool? This sounds like an issue with a server incompatibility. I believe something like this happens when GZip is improperly installed. |

Hi there, This happens when you put your Post ID in both Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Restriction Options -› Post Access Restrictions and Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Restriction Options -› Specific Post/Page Access Restrictions. Please make sure that you don’t have the ID that you’d like to sell anywhere but Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Restriction Options -› Specific Post/Page Access Restrictions. |

Hi Tony, I’ll send this to the development team to look at changing. In the mean time, you might want to force the values to 0 by using the following lines:
You should be able to hook into s2Member’s PayPal processes like this:

Hi Tony, This usually happens when there’s an improper setup with PayPal IPN / PDT. Make sure everything is set up correctly, as s2Member needs it under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Options -› PayPal® IPN Integration |

This is very possible with s2Member.
I believe I answered this one of your other posts. This is possible using this post: http://www.s2member.com/forums/topic/setting-up-eot-notifications/
You can use modification forms for this, but you’ll want to put a bit of dynamic code in here to ensure that this works correctly. See: Knowledge Base » Using variables in a shortcode |

Hi Emily, Looks like the problem is in this line:
If you used the same “domain” (‘default’), it won’t work. Try changing that to ‘s2member’. |

This seems like a good time to use custom capabilities. You will have to set up this custom code, though. |

Hi Andrew, You can find info on pulling this info from PayPal in this post: http://www.s2member.com/forums/topic/last-payment-time-is-wrong-2/#post-33327
I will be updating that article in the near future to work with recurring subscriptions.

Hi Eslam, Let us know if any problems persist. We have not seen any reports of this issue since the last release of s2Member, but we’ll keep an eye out for what might be causing it. |
