Hi Jan.

You can’t control that from the interface. You could control the display with CSS. You could also try changing the code a bit using JS in the front end.

To change what s2Member outputs for them, though, you could hack the code for it. Search the s2Member files for it and see if there’s a hook that lets you do it.

If there isn’t a hook, then you’ll need to hard code the hack. In that case, I recommend that you make a copy of the file and place it in the must-use plugins directory and edit that. /wp-content/mu-plugins/

I hope that helps. :)

Got it. Thanks for the update.

You mean having images as part of the options? Have you tried the HTML img tag where you’d enter the name of the option? I haven’t tried it, but I know that HTML works in some parts of the custom profile fields.

I’ll go to your new thread now.

Well, I checked the integration with ClickBank and the settings all seem fine.

I want to do the test purchase now, but I really need FTP info to get the log files and see when they say. Could you send me that? I’m emailing you now so you can send me that.

Thanks for the info, Steffen. Got your email. I’ll take a look at that in a moment.

About the confirmation email, if it’s not being sent, then there’s something wrong in the ClickBank integration in your site. If it were working normally, then the email would be sent and would show in your email log.

About taking the user to the registration page after checkout, you could following the instructions to use a custom thank-you page. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› ClickBank® Options -› Thank-You Page Integration[/hilite]

Just remember that ClickBank has some required things you have to add to the thank-you page, so you’d have to add those to the registration page.

What I’d suggest, though, woul be to have a WP page thanking the person, giving him the info CB requires, and telling him to go register his account and give the link for that.

Yes i do but i fill them manually. Is there a way have them added automatically?

Got it. Yeah, there is. This may help: http://www.s2member.com/forums/topic/s2member-mailchimp-and-ccaps/#post-17078

Maybe it is something i dont understand about WP myself. How can i install another instance of s2M on the same “site”? If i have a section under scrapbookcampus.com/fr how would i have a different s2M install?

Ah okay! Now I understood. :)

You can have several WP installations in the same site. It doesn’t have to be 1 site = 1 WP installation. You could have 20 directories or subdomains, all with their own WP installation. There’s also WP multisite, but since you’re just doing two installations, and one is already live, I’d just add the second installation.

A couple years ago I created a multilanguage site for a client, and my solution, since WP isn’t designed to handle multiple languages at the same time, was to create two directories (i.e. en, es), each with its own WP installation in the corresponding language. Then added the plugins, with their own translations where needed. And then added to the navigation the link to each language’s version of the site.

In the root I added a redirection to the default language. Since your root is the default language installation, you don’t need to worry about that redirection.

Does that help?

Great. :)

Hi Todd.

Sure, you could use the Authorize.Net pro-form to sell these, even if you’re not protecting content and selling that. You could sell Specific Post/Page access, which doesn’t require a registration, but the registration being just a couple more fields in the pro-form, it may be better to just register them at Level 1.

o basically like #1 above, but the user can specifiy the amount himself, and also enter an “invoice number”, as a pass-through custom field value that would be tied to the payment.

The invoice number could be a custom profile field in the registration form. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Registration/Profile Fields[/hilite]

But the pro-form doesn’t allow the user to input the amount to pay. Maybe you can customize it to do that, though. This article may help: Pre Sale FAQs » Is it possible to modify s2Member® Pro Form templates?

he pays in 12 monthly installments – essentially a subscription to a recurring payment plan that charges the credit card (held in Authorize.net ARB) 12 times, once per month, and then it ends.

You can use the [hilite mono]rrt[/hilite] attribute (recurring times) set to 12 for this. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Authorize.Net® Pro Forms -› Shortcode Attributes -> rrt[/hilite]

But this time, he does NOT need to register a new user-account in the site, since he already has one

Sure. Just make sure the user is logged in to his account when he tries to pay again.

I hope that helps. :)

Hi Timothy.

In case you don’t get a reply from a developer here, you could try posting the job in a freelancers site like jobs.wordpress.net.

I hope it helps. :)

Well, if you find a way to have the chatbox in a WordPress page/post, you can restrict access to the page/post using s2Member based on levels.

Do you have a chat solution in mind already or are you still looking for one?

Hi Ryan.

Thanks for the update. I’m very glad you found the problem! :)

I don’t know why that caused you that problem either, but I’ll show it to Jason in case it’s something he needs to look into.

Hi Brett.

I’m not familiar with this, so I can’t really say. Do you have the same behavior if you deactivate s2Member to test this?

Cool. You too! :)

Hi Jan.

Sorry, the code seems to have been lost in your post. Could you post it again, making sure that it’s inside HTML code tags?

Thanks!

About having a link to your T&C custom profile field, yes, you can do that.

Thanks for the info.

Could you make sure you have logging enabled and try a new test transaction, please? [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Options -› Account Details -› Logging[/hilite]

And could you send me your login info so I take a look at your configuration in the Dashboard and your s2Member logs via FTP? s2Member® » Private Contact Form

Thanks!

Hi Steffen. Sorry I missed your post yesterday.

I see in your log [hilite mono]‘s2_referencing’ => ’1′[/hilite]. Are you logged in to your admin account when you test the checkout? You should make sure you aren’t and test again, please.

Would it be possible to get access to your site so I look at your settings? Screenshots of (or access to) the ClickBank account would be good too. And a new test card so I can do a test purchase, please. s2Member® » Private Contact Form

First of all, thank you for a great product. Very powerful. Very impressive. :-)

Thanks for the kudos! :)

Cassel, do you mean a free registration that also adds ccaps to the account? You can use the free registration pro-form. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Pro Forms -› Free Registration Forms[/hilite]

Does that help?

Posted: Saturday Aug 18th, 2012 at 8:21 am #22430

Hi Yosuke.

Right, it should be immediate. Is the user logged in when he starts the order for the additional ccaps?

Do you have logging enabled? I’d like to see the entries from all the logs for the transaction that had the problem, please. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Options -› Account Details -› Logging[/hilite]

Thanks!

Hi Carl.

I’m sorry, I’m not sure I understand how it’s related to s2Member. Could you please explain some more? Thanks! :)

Posted: Saturday Aug 18th, 2012 at 7:41 am #22427

That’s correct, Ross. Your PayPal IPN would be the default, which you can use for Gravity Forms, and s2Member sets the IPN on each transaction. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Options -› PayPal® IPN Integration -> More info[/hilite]

*Quick Tip* In addition to the default IPN settings inside your PayPal® account, the IPN URL is also set on a per-transaction basis by the special PayPal® Button Code that s2Member provides you with. In other words, if you have multiple sites operating on one PayPal® account, that’s OK. s2Member dynamically sets the IPN URL for each transaction. The result is that the IPN URL configured from within your PayPal® account, becomes the default, which is then overwritten on a per-transaction basis. In fact, PayPal® recently updated their system to support IPN URL preservation. One PayPal® account can handle multiple sites, all using different IPN URLs.

*NOT True w/ PayPal® Pro* With PayPal® Pro integration you absolutely MUST set an IPN URL inside your PayPal® account. PayPal® Pro integration does NOT allow the IPN location to be overridden on a per-transaction basis. If you’re using a single PayPal® Pro account for multiple cross-domain installations, and you need to receive IPN notifications for each of your domains; you’ll want to create a central IPN processing script that scans variables in each IPN response, forking itself out to each of your individual domains. In rare cases when this is necessary, you’ll find two variables in all IPN responses for s2Member. The originating domain name ( i.e. cristian.websharks-inc.net ) will always be included somewhere within, either: custom and/or rp_invoice_id; depending on the type of transaction. These variables can be used to test incoming IPNs, and fork to the proper installation. For your convenience, an example script has been provided inside: /s2m-pro-extras/paypal-central-ipn.php. You can download all Extras here: s2m-pro-extras.zip.

I hope that helps. :)

Hmm…

Could you test this in a clean installation or WordPress? Install a new WP in a directory and add only s2Member to it, configure the PayPal settings and post the shortcode for your buttons in a page. See if you have the A3, P3, and T3 parameters error then too.

Posted: Saturday Aug 18th, 2012 at 7:06 am #22425

The problem i have is that i am not using levels, only 0 and 1 and tons of ccaps

I imagine then that you’re adding the ccaps MailChimp merge fields, right?

I guess that would allow to have completely separate mailing lists on MailChimp!

Sure.

Well, since s2M is a plugin, i thought it would “apply” to all the pages of one WP installation, so if i want to install another instance of s2M, then i figured i would have to have it on a “different” WP install. Does it make sense?

Sorry, I’m still not sure I understand. :P

I hope you don’t have trouble anymore, but it’s good to be ready with a backup in case you do.

You can also backup your s2Member options: [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Import/Export -› s2Member® Options[/hilite]

I hope it helps. And let us know if you need help again. :)

I imagine there must be, you’d need to check with the BuddyPress guys, I’m not very familiar with it to tell you much more about it.

But if you have BuddyPress deactivated already, I don’t know why that feature would persist. Do you have another plugin that could be adding it? You could test deactivating the other plugins one by one and checking after each if the problem continues.

I am unable to use the server check tool, can you please provide some instructions on how to use the same?

Sure: just upload the PHP file to the directory where you have WordPress and the load it in your browser. For example: http://www.wpskillset.com/server-check-tool.php

I see. Could you fix the permission for that file? If not, you could contact your web host to help you with it.
