An upgrade is possible from your Account page, there’s a link there for that. It may be best to wait for Jason’s response regarding the transfer. About that, have you emailed Jason? You may need more space than what’s available to write, so attach a file with your letter including the details Jason requested, please. :) |

I emailed Jason asking him if that hook is triggered when the account is modified manually by the admin. |

I see. I found this same problem in another site once. The rewrite base that s2Member uses, is matched to that of the configured domain for the installation under [hilite path]WP -> Settings -> General[/hilite]. Could you send the dashboard and FTP login info to take a look at what you have? s2Member® » Private Contact Form |

I’m glad you solved part of the problem. About the downloads problem, could you show me or quote the error message? Did you read this article and try the things mentioned there? Knowledge Base » Resolving Problems with File Downloads |

You mean on profile edit or in a custom script of yours? The thread I pointed you to, later in the thread, mentions a function you can use to update the user in MailChimp. |

This video may help: Video » s2Member (Client Portals?)
Yeah, install s2Member in a multisite WordPress and you’ll get some settings in s2Member that lets you use it in child blogs, as well determine how many blogs a user can have in the network depending on his s2Member Level. |

Hi Terri. You can use the list server integration with AWeber or MailChimp so the person gets added to a new list when changed to Level 1, and the list would have the welcome email to send immediately to the person. Or you can try this tip Jason shared some time ago: http://www.primothemes.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=10368#p33365 I hope that helps. :) |

Odd, i just tested adding some code to that field, saved, loaded the page and it was there. Did you save your changes? What URL did you check after adding the code? |

Jeff, right, the custom registration fields aren’t sent to PayPal. You’re using a pro-form, right? With Express Checkout or PayPal Pro? Meghan, are you using a button or pro-form, if the latter, Express Checkout or PayPal Pro? From what I understand, ns=”2″ will work with the PayPal Standard button and the pro-form with Express Checkout. In those cases, the address would be collected over at PayPal during checkout. |

So you don’t want to have ccaps removed when the EOT is due to a refund, but not if it’s for another reason? I’m not sure I understand. |

Hi Skip. That’s a nice idea, but you may not need it. Have you tried Firebug? You can inspect anything on the page and it becomes very easy to pinpoint the IDs you need and even test styles live before you work on your CSS file. http://getfirebug.com |

Hi Benny. Did you make a backup of the site before all the updates, that you could go back to? Does your webhost create regular backups for you? If you’re not sure about the webhost one, it’d be good to ask them. There are other PHP execution plugins, you can try them and maybe find one that will work. If not, start deactivating other plugins one by one and refresh the page with the video again after each, maybe it’s a plugin conflict. About s2Member not serving the file to users below Admin, if you try the URL to the file alone, outside the video player, what do you get? You can send me the dashboard login to take a look if you want: s2Member® » Private Contact Form |

Hi Jim. s2Member’s coupons are not handled by PayPal, they’re used in the s2Member pro-form. What you may have read is that one could use the pro-form to make coupon use possible, without having to get PayPal Pro, using Express Checkout instead. Pre Sale FAQs » To use s2Member® Pro Forms, will I have to use PayPal® Pro? I hope that helps. :) |

So WordPress upgraded s2Member to 120517 instead of 120601? I guess it’s a problem with WP’s automatic upgrade. If you have the Deactivation Safeguards active, the s2Member data won’t be lost during upgrade. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Deactivation Safeguards[/hilite] It’s still good to always make a backup before updates of any kind, just in case. You can update the framework and Pro via FTP, here’s how: s2Member® » Framework » Install/Upgrade Instructions I hope it helps. :) |

Ah, you mean a test account you created, I see. Hmm… And that’s while logged in to the demo account you created, not the admin one, right? Could you send the dashboard login info through the contact form so I take a look there, please? s2Member® » Private Contact Form Thanks. |

This isn’t possible yet with s2Member’s interface, but here’s a way to do it: http://www.primothemes.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=15658&p=48878#p48878 |

Hi Nick. Since you’re selling a subscription, you can use the pro-form integrated with PayPal’s Express Checkout, to have him register the new account and be taken to PayPal for payment. Pre Sale FAQs » To use s2Member® Pro Forms, will I have to use PayPal® Pro? You can add to the pro-form the custom capabilities the user should get, too. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Pro Forms -› Shortcode Attributes -> ccaps[/hilite] Like Boudewijn said, you can use the success attribute to specify where the user will come back to after checkout. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Pro Forms -› Custom Return URLs Upon Success[/hilite] But don’t remove the custom attribute, s2Member requires it. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Pro Forms -› Shortcode Attributes -> custom[/hilite] I hope that helps. :) |

So you did several tests and only in one it didn’t work? It’s odd. I’d have thought maybe a JavaScript problem was causing it, but then one’d guess that it’d happen every time. You can still check the web console in Firefox to see if there are any JavaScript errors there for that page. You can test for a plugin/theme causing it. Change the theme to the default one, or deactivate other plugins one by one, testing after each, to see if the problem goes away. Since it doesn’t happen every time, you would need to tests a few times after each to tell if it’s gone, I guess. I hope that helps. |

PayPal also lets you customize the header image it uses, which could help brand the checkout experience differently for each site. |
