Hi Stefan. Not that I know. WP plugins reside in the plugins directory under wp-content. You can probably google how to change the plugins dir path, maybe there’s a hack for that. |

Ah, sorry then. Did you send the test card so I can go through checkout and investigate the problem? Please include screenshots of your your ClickBank admin pages were s2Member needed you to do something, so I can review the integration there. Thanks! |

Yes, that’s the way the current export tool exports the s2Member custom fields. It only exports the fields that have a value and it does it in pairs of field name and field value, it doesn’t have a specific column for each field. This will change in the new s2Member we’re developing, to give each field a column. |

Did you actually enter those extensions into the field for it? Or is that what’s shown below the field as an example? [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Download Options -› Inline File Extensions[/hilite] You can also try using the download key, as explained here: [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Download Options -› Advanced Download Restrictions[/hilite] |

Oh, not a problem, Keane. I know how it is with new things one has to learn, and it’s understandable that it may get confusing sometimes. It just shows that we probably could do a bit better explaining some things. Thank you for your nice tone too! And I’m glad I could help you, even if just a little bit. Let us know if you need anything else. :) |

Correct. I’m glad you sorted it out. :) Deleting an account won’t stop payments, because those are handled by the gateway they have their subscription running on. If the user paid you through a pro-form set up with PayPal Pro, you’ll need the the cancellation pro-form, because that’s the only interface he’ll have to manage that. If he had paid with his PayPal account through PayPal Standard or Express Checkout, then he’d have the PayPal interface to cancel it himself, and so would you. I hope that helps understand it better. |

Hi Keane. s2Member, by default, doesn’t restrict access to anything, except the page you choose for Login Welcome, which gets restricted at s2’s Level 0. Only the things in your site that you add to s2Member restrictions will be restricted. So if there’s an area you want public, just make sure you don’t restrict it. I hope that helps. :) |

Hi Nicolas. You can protect video files with s2Member and open them with a player. Try using the mod-rewrite format for the URL, since the one with the querystring is not liked by some players. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Download Options -› Advanced Mod-Rewrite Linkage[/hilite] Also, check that you have those file extensions in your inline file extensions list: [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Download Options -› Inline File Extensions[/hilite] I don’t know about flipbooks, haven’t used them, but if it’s a kind of “player” for text files, then I guess it’d be similar. I hope it helps. :) |

Hi Jeff. The [hilite mono]ns[/hilite] attribute is a bit different in the pro-form than the button.
I hope that helps. :) |

Hi Marco. Does the image work fine if you use it in a WordPress page? Did you add “jpg” to the inline file extensions list? [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Download Options -› Inline File Extensions[/hilite] Did you try using the mod_rewrite URL for it? [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Download Options -› Advanced Mod-Rewrite Linkage[/hilite] I hope that helps. |

Hi Phil. I’m afraid that the PayPal Express Checkout button can’t be changed, it’s part of PayPal’s terms. Nice customization of the pro-form. :) |

Hi Frank. This is something we’re implementing now into the new s2Member under development, but the current one doesn’t have it yet. If you’re doing buy-now transactions, then EOTs are set immediately and you can query these from the database to find the users expiring soon. If you’re doing subscriptions, EOT won’t be set before the user ends it, as explained here: [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Options -› Automatic EOT Behavior[/hilite] What you can do is use the notifications API with a custom script to keep track of these and know when the expirations are close. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Notifications[/hilite] I hope that helps. |

Hi Frank. I’m afraid that the two EOT behaviors available are demotion to Level 0 or account deletion. :/ When you give full access to your users on Level 0, is that a trial or how does it work? Maybe you can do that with a higher level so Level 0 is available for demotions. |

You are missing the closing quote at the end of the success URL. Try checking out again after fixing that, please. I hope that helps. :) |

Hi John. If you’re using the PayPal Standard buttons, then PayPal will give the option to pay without a PayPal account if it’s a buy-now transaction. If it’s a subscription, then he will have to have a PayPal account. If you’re using the PayPal pro-form without PayPal Pro, then you’d be using Express Checkout, which will always require the person to have a PayPal account. I hope that helps. |

Thanks. I’d like to do a test purchase to see what happens. Could you set up a test page with the pro-form at 1 cent for me and send the link using the private contact form, please? s2Member® » Private Contact Form |

That doesn’t have a trial term. It’s weird that the subscription would result in that, then. Could you send me the link to the pro-form at 1 cent so I create a test subscription and see what happens as the customer, please? Also, make sure you enable logging before, so it gets logged and we get more data from s2Member, please. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Options -› Account Details -› Logging[/hilite] Thanks! |

Michael, have you tried deactivating other plugins one by one and trying again after each to see if it’s fixed? |

Hi Jennifer. s2Member profile fields can be integrated with BuddyPress using those settings you mentioned, but BuddyPress profile fields don’t integrate with s2Member. So if you need s2Member to have those fields in some way, like to have in pro-forms, you shouldn’t use the BuddyPress ones. I hope that helps. :) |

Hi Nicolas. s2Member Pro doesn’t seem to be active in your installation, or you’d have “s2Member Pro Info” at the bottom of the menu. Check this article to make sure you installed it correctly, please: s2Member® » Pro » Install/Upgrade Instructions I hope it helps. :) |
