Or you could probably add this line to a php file in the [hilite mono]/wp-content/mu-plugins/[/hilite] directory: [hilite pre_code][/hilite] |

You’re right, I had completely forgotten about that, sorry for making a wrong statement about it not being there before. Here are two posts that should help understand: http://www.primothemes.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=16256#p56133 |

Hi Brendan. Just curious, what do you mean by date specific? That instead of so many days after registration, it’d be on a specific Month and Day specifically? |

Yeah, the log files should definitely help. Could you please send them so Jason can review them when he has a chance? http://www.s2member.com/contact/ |

You could upload it to your server or some other image sharing service and link to it here, or put it inside an img tag. Got it on how you’ll do the upgrades after review. |

I don’t know it. I suggest you ask in the Warrior Forums or other communities that work with affiliate tools a lot, or Google for reviews of affiliate program scripts. To integrate with s2Member, if not one of the ones pre-integrated, you can use the Notifications API to create your own. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Notifications[/hilite] I hope that helps. |

Hi Matt. I couldn’t reproduce the problem either. When you can’t access the tagged post, are you being sent to the Membership Options Page? If so, could you post the vars you get in the URL after the redirection? They’ll say what access restriction is being applied. I’m guessing you may be having another plugin affecting the tag/categ behavior in a way that causes the problem you’re describing. Could you, as a test, deactivate other plugins one by one, checking after each if the tagged post still shows that behavior until it doesn’t? Thanks! |

Hi Joe. If you want to have each use with a business ID that is unique and auto increments when they register, wouldn’t the user ID in WordPress do the job fine? |

Hi Terri. Could you please post screenshots of the problems you mention to understand them better? By the way, how did you set up the membership approval system? Did you use another plugin or did you protect the content above the level the user gets on registration, to then upgrade him manually after review? |

Hello Rosemary. If after entering the amount you want and other details, you click the “generate” button and are not seeing those changes reflected in the shortcode, then there’s most probably a JavaScript problem in your installation that’s causing the button generator to not work. I’m guessing it’s probably the theme. Could you try, as a test, changing the theme to the default TwentyEleven and using the generator then? In any case, you can edit the shortcode by hand if you wanted. All the shortcode attributes are explained here: [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Buttons -› Shortcode Attributes (Explained)[/hilite]. And if you wanted to create a button over at PayPal, that works with s2Member, here are the instructions for that: http://www.s2member.com/kb/using-paypal-created-buttons/ I hope that helps! :)

That post gives a good idea on how to query a custom field. You’d have to modify the query to do what you want. |

Hi Michael. Actually, I don’t remember that ever being available in the ClickBank generator. The way to get the HTML is to use the shortcode in a WP page and then look at the source for the button. It’s really just a linked image. The URL has to be modified a bit, like populating the IP address with a PHP function. It’s important to not be logged in when you view the button to get the code or it’ll include the user’s ID. I hope that helps. :) |

Thanks. I don’t see it in the inbox yet, so I don’t know what happened. I just emailed you directly, could you please reply to it with a new copy of the file? Sorry for the trouble. :) |

Hi Ted. Right, for that you could protect your content at a higher level than what they’re registering at, and upon registration you’d review the account and upgrade the level manually to the one to access the content. So, basically, the registration would not be pending approval, but the access to the content would be. I hope that helps. |

Right. The level would determine the access to the protected content, but you can sell/give it any way you want and it’d be the same. So if you want to sell differently the very same access, there’s not need to change levels, just change the way you’re selling it. You can just update the amount value in your pro-form’s shortcode, or create new pro-forms if you want. You could have three pro-forms and five buttons, all selling the same level at different prices, and it’d all work. The result would be that everyone purchasing would have the same access, only their subscription payments would be different. Does that help? :) |

Got it. Hmm… Do let us know if you get more info on this. I’m not sure it has something to do with this, but try asking the users that complain, what version brand and version they’re using. Maybe there’s a relationship? Anyway, seems to be particular to your site, so I don’t know if that’d be the issue, or more people would have mentioned a similar thing here, but I didn’t come across one. Hopefully the IPN update solves it. :) |

Could you explain a bit more what the confusion was exactly? So we can try to improve this in the future to make it easier to understand. Thanks! |
