I believe it’s the following:
File: wp-login.php, found in the WordPress root directory.
I believe what you’re looking for is the form starting at line 510, which ends at line 524.

Please note that these changes will be made obsolete once you upgrade WordPress, so I suggest you keep the changes saved somewhere, so that you can just copy/paste it later.

This field is required by WordPress, if you want to remove it all together it would remove an important security measure, if you really want to remove you would have to remove it directly through the WordPress the code.

I understand the problem your users are having, the styles in the form are somewhat controlled by s2Member, under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Login/Registration Design.

Although what controls this the most is your theme’s CSS.

I recommend you change this from inside your theme.

If they have a WP theme that allows such a thing, they can certainly accomplish this. However, it’s beyond the focus of s2Member I believe. Opening a Membership Options Page in a popup window is something that needs to be handled at the theme level :-)

The Membership Options Page is just a Page in WordPress. So it’s completely under the control of a site owner.

I understand your situation, and why you would be frustrated.

What I would first try would be to install s2Member again, and this time make sure deactivation safeguards are turned off.

You can turn them off under Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Deactivation Safeguards.

Then you uninstall s2Member. See if that solves the problem.
