Hi Remon. You could create your own integration with GetResponse using the Notifications API. The Notifications API is available in the free version of s2Member if you want to test this before upgrading. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / List Servers -› Other Integration Methods[/hilite] I hope that helps. :) |

Hi David.
There’s a setting for Nav Menus to hide protected pages from users that don’t have access to them. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Restriction Options -› Alternative View Protection -> Nav Menu[/hilite]
The Alt View protection doesn’t prevent content protected by conditionals from being shown in the menu, since it’s not the whole page what’s protected by s2Member. This includes dripped content, since it’s done with conditionals. You could probably use a text widget with some PHP code in it to drip the links to the dripped content. Or you could hack the menu code to do it, although I haven’t done it so I can’t offer specific advice on that one. I hope that helps. :) |

Option 2 is the one I like best. The URL is entered as your ClickBank product’s thank-you page URL. If your thank-you page were located at http://negociocpa.com/thank-you/ then the return URL would be
Sí, es mi idioma natal, pero prefiero que hablemos en inglés para que los demás también entiendan. Además lo manejas muy bien y entiendo lo que dices, así que no vamos a tener problema con eso. :) |

Hi Scott. Well, you can use the free registration pro-form so the user registers his friends for them. That pro-form allows to create free accounts at any level you set it to, not just Level 0, as well as other things you can adjust with the shortcode attributes. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Pro Forms -› Free Registration Forms[/hilite] Maybe something like that will help you with the customization? |

Cassel, if you stored the ccaps to the user’s MailChimp profile as merge fields, then you could filter the list by that when you email them. |

No, there isn’t one, but you can use a customized template for it, which you may want to take a look at. Maybe it’s enough to do what you want. Pre Sale FAQs » Is it possible to modify s2Member® Pro Form templates? I hope it helps. :) |

No, you can do test purchases with a product that wasn’t approved yet, just use the test card ClickBank gives you. Could you show me a screenshot of the page with the IPN setting where you entered that URL please? Did you make sure it’s set to version 2.1? Also, what do you mean by it not passing the test? Does it give an error? Could you show me a screenshot? Did you enable logging? I’d like to see the entries from all the log files (even the ones that say PayPal in the name) for the test transaction, please. (Remember x’ing out private info like email addresses.) [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› ClickBank® Options -› Account Details -› Logging[/hilite] Thanks. :)

I’m glad that worked then. :)
Yeah, I understood that, but you could still sell it and the page have instructions, thank-you, upsells or whatever, while you send the DVD physically. Was the closest I had to suggest for your need with s2Member. The cart is better for physical goods, though, I’m glad you could integrate it with the same ccBill account. |

No, shortcodes don’t work in the emails, but you can use the URL to the file. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Download Options -› Advanced Mod-Rewrite Linkage[/hilite] |

Hi William. There isn’t a setting to do it that way, but you could remove the first and last names from the registration and instead create a custom profile field for the full name, although it’s not going to be used by WP as the full name would if first and last name were entered normally. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Registration/Profile Fields[/hilite] I hope that helps. :) |

Hi Herman.
The user will be taken to the default s2Member thank-you page for ClickBank, or to the one you specify in the return URL following the instructions here: [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› ClickBank® Options -› Thank-You Page Integration -> optional customizations[/hilite] By membership form, do you mean the registration form? In your thank-you page you can link to the registration form /wp-login.php?action=register
Anybody with the URL to the thank-you page would/should be able to access it. The registration page, if you disabled Open Registration, would only be accessible by those that went through checkout and came back to the s2Member return URL. I hope that helps!
No hay problema. Yo usaría una thank-you page personalizada aunque mi sitio fuese en inglés. :) |

Hi Herman. Verify that you set the IPN to version 2.1 over at ClickBank, please. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› ClickBank® Options -› IPN Integration[/hilite] By the way, if you haven’t yet, please enable logging. It’ll make it easier to find/solve some problems. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› ClickBank® Options -› Account Details -› Logging[/hilite] I hope that helps. :) |

Hi Herman. Yes, you need to use the s2Member return URL for ClickBank, but you can still show your custom thank-you page to the customer. Here are the instructions: [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› ClickBank® Options -› Thank-You Page Integration -> optional customizations[/hilite] I hope it helps. :) |

Hi Abner. You can use the download protection, protect the file at Level 1 and limit the downloads to 1. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Download Options -› Basic Download Restrictions[/hilite] Does that help?

Yes, this is something we’re working on and will be coming in the new s2Member being developed. We don’t have a date for it yet, but it’s in the works. In the meantime, you may be able to use AWeber or MailChimp to send the user an email on set dates right before the terms expire. It’s not the best solution, but it may be good enough for now. Video » s2Member (API List Servers)
The problem here is that with subscriptions, EOT time is not set before the subscription is ended (e.g. payment fails). If the user has to pay each month manually, though, with single payments (e.g. “buy now” transactions in PayPal, i.e. not a subscription), then EOT time is set right there, and that’d let you have a cron-job with a script to check the EOT times for all users and email those that are close to the date. I hope that helps!
Thanks for the kudos! :) |

Hi John.
I’m sorry, I have no experience with it.
Sure, you can have a development installation and use s2Member Pro there without a problem. Only live sites count for the Single Site license. I hope that helps. :) |

I’m very sorry, I had not understood that you didn’t want to require an account registration. In that case, you can sell a Specific Post/Page, which won’t require the person to register. Video » s2Member (Specific Posts/Pages)
Oh, cool. I hope that works fine then. Let us know how it goes. :) |

Hi Karyl.
What do you mean by it not working? What error/message is she given when she uses the link and it doesn’t work? Maybe it has to do with the Unique IP restriction? [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Restriction Options -› Unique IP Access Restrictions[/hilite]
Sometimes TinyURL doesn’t work, Goo.gl seems to have been more reliable in some cases. If the problem really were the shortening service and you needed to try a third one, you can still do it using a service that lets you use their API via URL (e.g. Bit.ly). You can enter the URL for it here: [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› URL Shortening Service -> Custom URL Shortening Service API[/hilite] I hope that helps. :) |

Ah, that’s right, you’re using the pro-form so the user registers right there. Sorry it slipped my mind. :P

Hi Greg.
Right. The user/pass email would be sent after the user registers, the account is not created automatically when the user pays. After payment a Signup Confirmation email is sent, and on registration the New User email is sent.
Sure.
Yes, there are admin areas for s2Member Pro features which aren’t in the free s2Member Framework.
Of course.
Yes. You can do that with the free version too, if you wanted to try it now.
There’s a chance, it’s in our list of things we want to get done, but I have no date for it. In the meantime, you may find this thread interesting: http://www.primothemes.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=6223&p=53244#p32798

Hi Chris. Yeah, you can do that with s2Member. For new registrations, you can use the free registration pro-form, which lets you set a higher level than 0 for the new user, as well as an EOT time, so the EOT behavior is executed (e.g. demotion). About existing users you may want to give the trial to, you can use the Export tool to get a CSV of your members, and raise their level, as well as give an EOT time, and then import the CSV file back to update their accounts. I hope that helps. :) |
