Well, I was trying to find a way for you to make it work with the gateways supported by s2Member, even when PayPal Australia doesn’t have the Pro service.
Yes, I can perfectly understand that. It’s just that they do work fine for some websites and I wanted to double check if yours would be one of those. Some site owners want the best off the bat, although it’s not required right away.
Well, what PayPal services are available in Australia that would work for you? We are working on the new s2Member, which will be integrated with more PP services, one of which may work for you, so starting with PP Standard for now and wait for that release in a few months may be a possibility. |

Hi Clifford. I’m sorry, but I’m confused, I’m not understanding your question. Could you please explain it in more detail, and with examples, if possible? Thank you very much. :) |

Yeah, PayPal should make it very clear so users there don’t get the wrong idea from all the promotion made to PayPal Pro online. :/ Does it have to be PayPal Pro for your site, though? |

Well, this article may help: Knowledge Base » Changing Roles/Capabilities via PHP And about another plugin to edit the capabilities/roles in bulk, you may want to request that from the developer of the User Role Editor, he has a great plugin there, but I don’t remember bulk editing. http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/user-role-editor/ I hope it helps. :) |

Nice job! That’s the route I’d have taken for a hack, storing the time in a ccap the user gets. Thanks for the update, I’m glad you got it working. :) |

That info says that the IPN URL is not set on a transaction basis for PayPal Pro, but seems to do it with Standard and Express Checkout. Each installation of s2Member has its own return URL, which is the one set when the transaction happens. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Options -› PayPal® PDT / Auto-Return[/hilite] |

Hi Anton. I tried the link and it redirected me to the Membership Options page with all the vars. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Scripting -› Membership Options Page Variables (MOP Vars)[/hilite] It says it’s protected with the Page restriction, try the URI one. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Restriction Options -› URI Access Restrictions[/hilite] I hope it helps. :) |

You’d have to use the CSS selectors available in the widget’s HTML and style from your theme’s style.css file. :) |

You can have a login form in the Membership Options page using the s2Member Pro Login Widget via PHP. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Scripting -› Pro Login Widget (via PHP)[/hilite] ;) |

Hi Charles. If these customizations are hard for you, you should really consider getting help from a freelance developer that can do it. You post the job in freelance sites like jobs.wordpress.net, odesk.com or elance.com. I hope you find a good one quick. :) |

Sorry, Christine, but s2Member isn’t at fault, so it doesn’t really apply per the policy. You can email Jason via the contact form (enter fake login info) if you want, but he’ll probably point you to the refund policy again after studying your situation. I think you should be insisting to the theme’s developer about fixing that issue, though. Or post a job in a site like jobs.wordpress.net for a freelancer to take a look at your theme and fix the issue, it should be simple for a decent developer and not cost much or take long. :) |

To edit the CSS, just add your styles to your theme’s style.css file. The pro-form’s HTML has plenty of selectors you can use. :) |

No, not possible yet. What you could do is use conditions similar to the content dripping ones, but instead of giving access to more content, remove it. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Scripting -› Content Dripping[/hilite] I hope it helps. |

Hi Manish. I understand your question, and it’s not a problem. s2Member sets the IPN and return URLs on each transaction, the one entered in the PayPal settings is a default one overridden by the one set on the transaction (except the IPN one with PayPal Pro). For more info read these: [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Options -› PayPal® IPN Integration -> more info[/hilite] I hope that helps. :) |

Hi Jim. I’m glad you like s2Member so much. :) Thanks for your feedback. We are doing something like that with the new s2Member, but not in usermeta, instead it’ll be a new table. No release date, though, we haven’t even gotten to beta yet. |

Ah, no, s2Member only assigns it’s own level roles, it doesn’t use the WP ones. What you could do, though, is edit those s2Member Level roles and give them the capabilities from the other roles you wanted to use. http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/user-role-editor/ And you’d need to prevent those changes from being lost when you update. Knowledge Base » Locking s2Member Roles/Capabilities About the length of the subscription, you can use the rrt attribute in the PayPal button/pro-form shortcode. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Buttons -› Shortcode Attributes -> rrt[/hilite] I hope that helps. :) |

Well, you can look at their IP addresses from the checkout and the person disputing it… That would help a lot if they’re the same, or at least a little if they’re close. |

I don’t know. If linebreaks aren’t coming out properly with that shortcode, then you may need to do it with PHP after all. It’s not that big a deal, really, unless you really need to use the visual editor… |
