Thanks for your inquiry. ~ We appreciate your patience :-)
Yes, s2Member v130203 (the latest release) is compatible with bbPress v2.2.4 (the latest release).
Please see this KB article which includes a tab that details the Roles/Capabilities applied when bbPress is running in concert with s2Member®.
The latest release of s2Member® is actually easier to integrate than what you saw in the video, because the latest release does NOT require any bridges or other plugins. Just install s2Member® and bbPress together and you’re good. Visit this page in your Dasbhoard for further details please. See: Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Other Integrations -› bbPress®
To control navigation menu visibility, I recommend that you install the Menu Items Visibility Control plugin. Please find it listed on this page. See: Knowledge Base » Plugins/Themes (Compatibility w/ s2Member®)
Absolutely. They log into your WordPress® installation and they’re logged into your forums too. This is bbPress v2.2.4 that we’re running here at s2Member.com. You are correct, Users/Members only login one time. Please let us know if you have any other questions/concerns :-) |

No. After registration a customer is asked to log in. Upon logging in, the customer is redirected to your Login Welcome Page, and not to the page they were originally trying to access. In order to accomplish this, you would need to introduce some custom code (perhaps a cookie that remembers what they were trying to access). |

It works only with PHP files. However, ANY file can (even HTML files) be configured to parse PHP tags. Most servers are configured to parse PHP tags inside .php files only. However, a quick addition to your .htaccess file can add support for PHP tags inside other files, which would otherwise be served statically. Here are some articles covering this topic for GoDaddy, MediaTemple (gs) and HostGator. On GoDaddy, add this to your .htaccess file.
On HostGator, add this to your .htaccess file.
On MediaTemple (gs), add this to your .htaccess file.
You will need to consult with your hosting company about this to get the correct configuration.
URI Restrictions configured with s2Member® will function properly. Other Restrictions (like Posts, Pages, Categories, Tags) will not be functional, because this type of content does not fall under any of those. It’s custom content. That’s what s2Member’s URI Restrictions are for.
Enable PHP inside .html files as mentioned above. Then follow the KB article example :-) Actually, you could skip the

Please make sure that BOTH shortcodes have
Content would be restricted at Level #1 (available to all Members; including those on a free trial). Content *could* also be protected at Level # 2 (optional). If you protected content at Level #2, it would mean that only Members who paid you for the upgrade, would have access to that content. So the question is, do you want Members to have full access during their free trial? If so, all content is protected at Level #1. Level #2 is really just a distinguishing Level (identifying paid customers). It really does not provide any additional access; because Level #1 is all that’s required. Make sense? |

Details received. Thank you!It appears that you configured CNAME records for your CloudFront distros. However, your existing CNAME records are not pointed to the right locations. You currently have them pointing to S3. They need to be pointed to your CloudFront distributions. Please see: http://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonCloudFront/latest/DeveloperGuide/CNAMEs.html Please let us know if problems persist :-) |

Thanks for your inquiry. ~ We appreciate your patience :-)@ MontayaWill Users/Members be able to create their own blog on your Network? If so, you will need an s2Member® Multisite Network Support License. If not, an Unlimited Site License will be enough. With an Unlimited Site License, we will provide support for multiple instances of s2Member® Pro across multiple Child Blogs within your Network, as long as you are the Administrator for each of these Child Blogs. If you run a Multisite Network, but only intend to run a single instance of s2Member® Pro on the Main Site of your Network, then a Single Site License is sufficient. Multiple instances = Unlimited Site License If Users/Members will be able to create Child Blogs on your Network, then it won’t matter how many instances you intend to run, this absolutely requires an s2Member® Multisite Network Support License. See: s2Member® » Prices/Licensing Please let us know if you have any other questions/concerns :-) |
