Hi Genie, s2Member support is only provided through these support forums; there is no phone support. Please see our Support Policy for more information. I read through your replies above, but I’m having trouble understanding the problem. From Cristian’s post I gather that you’re using several different plugins and possibly a special theme that adds lots of features. My first recommendation is to disable all other plugins and switch to the default TwentyEleven theme to rule out any possible conflicts: Do you still have the problem? If so, could you please describe the problem for me? |

Hi Jessie, You may also want to post this on the Community Forum. I also recommend posting your job on jobs.wordpress.net. Regarding that error: I’m fairly certain that’s a problem on PayPal’s end. You should contact PayPal and ask them to confirm that PayPal Pro is actually enabled on your account. |

Hi Vahur, That looks like a CSS problem. It appears that you’re styling the Pro-Form yourself, using your own custom CSS, so I recommend looking into that. If you had a programmer make the customizations, you’ll need to consult with them. |

Hi Scott, We haven’t set a release date and I don’t have any information on an estimation, but we are most definitely still working hard on getting the next major release out as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience. |

You would need to give your Editor the same capabilities as an Administrator, which is effectively the same as changing his role to Administrator. You might be able to tweak the Editor role using a Role Editor plugin to add some, but not all, of the Administrator capabilities to the Editor role, thereby making him look like an Administrator to s2Member and allowing him view the protected pages. I can’t think of any other way to achieve this, but I’ll send a message to another support rep to see if he has any further suggestions. |

The first thing I noticed is that your code is missing the curly brackets for the first if-block. It should be:
Any if-blocks that contain more than one line below the conditional must use curly brackets. Your other if-blocks only contain one line (the echo line), so they don’t need the curly brackets. The second thing I recommend is testing the various assumptions by echo’ing different variables and statements to confirm they contain the data you’re expecting. For example:
Finally, I noticed your usage of current_user_is(“S2member_level2”) is incorrect: it should be s2member_level2, with a lowercase ‘s’, not uppercase. So the final code I suggest testing is:

Hi Deyson, This question is unrelated to the s2Member plugin and is outside the scope of our support policy. I recommend posting your question on wordpress.stackexchange.com or the WordPress Support Forums. |

Hi Michael, I just tested this on the latest version of Firefox and it works as expected, so I suspect there’s a problem with your browser cache or another WordPress plugin is conflicting with s2Member, or a Firefox extension that you have installed is causing these weird issues. I recommend clearing your Firefox browser cache and testing again. If that doesn’t fix the problem, I suggest trying to deactivate other WordPress plugins and/or Firefox extensions. |

No, you should not have any problem. The Level Labels are stored in the database and are not part of the export file. Also, the Custom Capabilities will simply be assigned to the users when you import them. If you’re not using those Custom Capabilities on the new site, having users with those Custom Capabilities won’t cause any problems. If you don’t want the users to have any Custom Capabilities assigned to them on the new site, then you can clear the Custom Capabilities column for all the users before you import them into the new site. |

Hi Rob, Unfortunately, I don’t have any information on what specific features will or will not be included in the next major release. We’re working hard to get it out as soon as possible and we’ll make an announcement as soon as it’s ready. |

Hi Michele, Yes, you’ll need to request the invoice from Elizabeth. I assume you want this, so I’ll go ahead and put in a request in for Elizabeth to send it. |

Hi Colin, You can certainly manually add users (see Can I create new Membership accounts manually with s2Member?). If the new user didn’t pay with a payment gateway, you can leave the Paid Subscr. ID and gateway fields empty. There is not currently any feature for creating/selling gift subscriptions within s2Member, so you’d need to handle that part yourself. |

Oriol, You may be able to restrict such front-end functions using the s2Member Advanced PHP conditionals (see Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / Scripting -› Advanced PHP Conditionals). |

Hi Andy, If you received a blank screen, then I suspect there was a glitch somewhere. If it’s not still happening, I wouldn’t worry about it. When someone is banned, they should receive a message that explains why they’re not able to login. There really isn’t anything that can be “setup wrong” when it comes to the IP Access Restrictions. |

Hi Colin, s2Member doesn’t have any generators for HTML that creates a drop-down list of items for the Specific Post/Page Buy Now buttons, but you could certainly code one that simply presents the user with a list of Posts/Pages you’re selling and upon selecting the one they want sends them to a PayPal Button specifically configured to purchase that page. You could also make this process a bit more dynamic by using dynamic shortcode attributes. That would save you from needing to generate a separate shortcode for each page. |

Hi Oriol, s2Member does not have that functionality, so it would need to be custom-coded by a PHP programmer. WordPress itself doesn’t have any concept of “invitation”, so you’d either need to maintain a separate list in the database of invitations that were sent out or you’d need to use a custom WordPress role specifically for invitations and process them that way. If you’re not comfortable with PHP, we recommend posting your job on jobs.wordpress.net. |
