Hi Anton. I don’t know if the user ID is available there yet. You could try the [hilite mono]ws_plugin__s2member_signup_email_msg[/hilite] hook and check the array of defined vars that is available to you with it. But the user account has been created when the New User email gets sent, though. Wouldn’t that email work for what you want? [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Email Configuration -> New User[/hilite] I hope that helps. |

Thanks, the new password worked. I see in the Users list that the user got created successfully at Level 2. Although that doesn’t match with the CSV file you sent, was that a separate test? I also noticed you have a ton of custom profile fields and the users list is really cramped. In the Screen Options tab in the upper-right corner, you can uncheck the fields you don’t need to see in the list to make some room. |

Thanks, got the email. Couldn’t login to the dashboard, though. I sent you an email asking for the login info, will wait for your reply to try again. I looked at the CSV file and it looks good for the most part. The dates for last payment and EOT are formatted inconsistently, I’d probably use the format mm/dd/yyyy or yyyy-mm-dd consistently for all. Also, you filled out the user ID column (the first one). This is fine if the user exists and you’re using the import to update his info, but to create users you need to leave the user ID empty. I hope that helps. :) |

Hi Chris.
You can try deactivating Xcloner too, and changing the theme to the default one. There may be a JavaScript conflict causing the settings to not save successfully. Knowledge Base » Common Troubleshooting Tips
Are you using the PayPal buttons or pro-forms? The buttons won’t create an account, just process the payment, the user then has to register the account in your site. The pro-form will do the registration and then take the user to PayPal to complete the payment. |

Hi Stephen. I’m glad you found a workaround, but I’m still curious about the problem you described. So the user registers at Level 1 but is being added to the AWeber list you specified for Level 0 users? [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› API / List Servers -› AWeber®[/hilite] What does the s2Member log for AWeber say about these users with that problem? Glad you figured it out. :) I’ll ask Jason about the stutter with RTMP. Just in case he needs it, please submit your site’s info and the page you’re testing this in. Thanks! s2Member® » Private Contact Form Could you test to see if there’s a theme/plugin conflict causing that? Knowledge Base » Common Troubleshooting Tips |

Hi Jon.
Yes, you can adjust the pro-form’s shortcode using the variables you get from the other page. See: Knowledge Base » Using Variables In A Shortcode I hope that helps. :) |

Hi Arny. I’m glad you’re liking s2Member. :) s2Member Pro is an add-on to the s2Member Framework, the free version. You don’t need to change your site, you can just add the Pro add-on and it’ll make new features available to you, but the ones you already had with the free version will still be there and need no change. s2Member® » Pro » Install/Upgrade Instructions I hope that helps! |

Hi Derek.
No.
That’s his role in the main site, right? What role does he have in his child blog?
No. You will need the Network Support license to use s2Member Pro in a blog farm, but the license is not altering s2Member’s behavior. There may be a conflicting plugin causing the problem. Please try the suggestions in this article: Knowledge Base » Common Troubleshooting Tips |

So there are protected pages that the user doesn’t have enough access for and still don’t redirect him to the Membership Options Page? Could you give a step-by-step to reproduce it? |

Hi Donald. I could reproduce the problem. It looks like a JavaScript conflict. I checked the Firefox Console and saw a JS error:
Could you deactivate the CloudFlare integration for a moment and reload the registration page to test if it works now? If not, then look for a conflict by another plugin or the theme. See: Knowledge Base » Common Troubleshooting Tips I hope that helps. :) |

Hi Lee. If the events are a custom post type, you could use the Post Restriction. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› Restriction Options -› Post Access Restrictions[/hilite] You can also try the URI Restriction. If you’re using the PayPal buttons with s2Member Pro installed, you can find the [hilite mono]success[/hilite] attribute here: [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Buttons -› Shortcode Attributes -> success[/hilite] If you’re using the PayPal pro-forms, you can find the [hilite mono]success[/hilite] attribute explained here: [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› PayPal® Pro Forms -› Custom Return URLs Upon Success[/hilite] I hope that helps. :) |

Hi there. Since you’re trying to do it in the actual content, you can’t use a header redirection, try using JavaScript. [hilite pre_code][/hilite] I hope that helps. :) |

Hi David. s2Member protected files aren’t attachments, though. You could probably use PHP to get a list of the files in the directory /wp-content/plugins/s2member-files/ and work with that. |

Hi Elayne.
Excellent. :)
Sure. I’d need you to submit your site’s info so I can take a look. You can also attach the CSV file you used to import the users. s2Member® » Private Contact Form
Yes, you can go to the users list, select them (don’t select your admin account) and from the drop-down for bulk actions, select Remove and click Apply. [hilite path]WP Admin -> Users[/hilite]

Hi CC SHambres. But how can you register someone with just a button? You’ll need to at least get a username and email address. [hilite path]Dashboard -› s2Member® -› General Options -› Registration/Profile Fields[/hilite] Or just an email address if you have a hack to use it for username too. http://www.primothemes.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=15672&p=49082#p49082 The free registration pro-form lets you register users at Level 1 for free.
